VISION MESSAGE FOR TODAY

GOD IS JEALOUS

Did you know that God is jealous for you? He is. He is so zealous to be the One in your life that you live for, that it makes Him jealous that you might want or rely on something or someone more than Him.

Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil took Him up on a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory (the splendor, magnificence, preeminence, and excellence) of them. 9 And he said to Him, These things, all taken together, I will give You, if You will prostrate Yourself before me and do homage and worship me. 10 Then Jesus said to him, Begone, Satan! For it has been written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him alone shall you serve.

We, like Jesus, are going to be tempted by Satan to worship him rather than God. Jesus knew right away He was being tempted by Satan to bow down to him. I am thinking, Satan, you have no idea who you are dealing with here to even try.

Then I look at who we are and, in our lack of knowledge, how easy it is for Satan to get us to bow down to him and worship him. If he came and announced himself, we for sure would turn away from him, but he doesn’t. But Jesus announced it in Mark 4. He said he would come and try to steal God from us and told us all the temptations he would tempt us with. But because we don’t look at the Word and/or have ears to hear the Word, we set that warning aside and live in ignorance, letting Satan tempt us and control us.

Starting out, when we commit to God, we are excited to serve Him just as Jesus described in Mark 4. But then, in being tempted at just the right time, we become weary and that is actually when he launches his best shot to get us to bow down to him.

Just like in the wilderness, when Jesus was near the end of His fast at his weakest point, the enemy came and tempted Jesus.

Jesus actually said in Mark 4 if you don’t understand this one principle you won’t understand anything. As soon as you hear the Word, the enemy would come and steal it. And that one thing we don’t get today, that very warning we were to take heed to, is the revelation we don’t have, which results in the enemy ruling over us.

He reigns in our lives even though Jesus took that authority and gave it to us. We have been given authority over him, because of our ignorance of him, he rules us.

Satan comes the Word tells us, dressed up as an angel of light. He wants you and I to be unaware of him, to make one think his suggestions are good, and even that they are God. Satan uses our flesh just like he did in the garden with Adam and Eve to control us. To get us to bow down to him, just as he tempted Jesus. If Jesus had given in to any of the enemi’s temptations, then Satan would have become Jesus’ god.

When we give in to him, we are making him our god. That is Satan’s ultimate goal: to control us and be our god. The very reason he was kicked out of heaven was because he wanted to be god and still today that is his desire, to be god. He has accomplished his goal in many lives, as he is god to many!

Just as Jesus warned us in Mark 4, he will use offence, distractions, lust, whatever he can muster up to pull you and me away from God and make another god for us to worship, rather than God Himself.

One morning God didn’t wake me up when I asked Him to. When I questioned Him, He said I am jealous that you didn’t want to get up for me. Usually He is the one I want to get up for, but I was in a place where I was discouraged, growing weary in well-doing, and so getting my attention on something else.

And that is what I told Him. God, I am sorry, but I am so discouraged. I am weary and I feel weak, and this is making me feel better.

Wow! I couldn’t believe what I heard myself saying to Him.

I realized right then and there I had let the enemy steal from me and was letting him steal from me my relationship with God. Why? Because I had my mind on me. It started being all about me rather than others. My flesh was complaining, and that came from meditating on me.

The enemy’s power lies within your thinking. He is a voice and one that defends you and your flesh. As if you need defending from God? But that is how he injects his poison. Always trying to make one think God has come to steal, kill, and destroy, and that he, Satan and things, stuff, vices, excreta is the good life.

He is such a liar; there is no truth in him at all. He twists the goodness of God to make many see an image they think is God, but it is him.

Jesus knew the truth when Satan tried to insinuate He was missing out. That is why Jesus pressed past what His flesh might have wanted; He knew the truth and the truth about who he was, and who His Father was.

If we know God, we will know our enemy, and we will choose the good. God will never fail us and always have compassion on us, while the enemy is just out for his own evil desire to be god for the little while he has left.

Know that your flesh is opposed to your spirit, the Spirit, and you have to resist it. The enemy will try to be your god, and we know that truth goes back to the beginning until now.

We can’t serve him and God. God will only have the one who is completely devoted to Him.

I love how God always is faithful. I asked Him a long time ago to keep correcting me, show me my faults; I don’t want to be deceived.

That is why He told me He was jealous. He knew I didn’t want to walk down the enemy’s path. I didn’t realize what I was doing, and my God, my wonderful Father, revealed that truth to me so I could change and get back on that narrow path.

Did you know that path will always have pressure? Did you notice when the enemy left Jesus, it said for a more opportune time? He would be back, and of course we know he was. Also notice the authority Jesus kept taking over him. Jesus never let him have his way. In fact, he was afraid of Jesus. Is he afraid of you, or is he in control of you?

God is jealous that we are not serving Him, the One who truly loves us. He doesn’t climb over the fence or sneak in the back door to try and trick us, but He gave His life for us to prove that love, to save us from what we couldn’t save ourselves from.

May I encourage you today to give into Him; let Him be your Dad. Let Him take care of you, don’t let the enemy lie to you. Who gave their life for you? Who is the one who really cares? Not the enemy; he is a fake god, one that will destroy you.

I am thinking of in the Bible, where two women claimed to be the mother of one baby. King Solomon had to decide which the real Mother was so made the order that the baby be cut in half. The real Mother spoke up and said to give her the baby, just don’t kill him. The woman who wasn’t the real mom said to go ahead and cut him in half, then neither of us will have a baby.

I say again, Jesus gave His life for you, not the enemy. Choose life! Follow that love and you will be given all He has, a partaker in His Kingdom for the cost of love!

Galatians 6:9 And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.

God is working things out for your good. Your part, my part, is to keep doing what is right. Stay devoted to our Father, and when we do, it will happen. What you have faith for will manifest!

Hey there — I’m Lee! I am so excited that you are visiting today. I want you to know that I am dedicated to doing the will of the Father beyond anything else.

That said —my assignment is to share with you the revelation knowledge Jesus gives me of how to prepare for eternal life. Thus, when visiting my channel you will only hear what Jesus has asked me to share with you. His intention is that we know the truth so we can move in with Him one day.

Many as Jesus said, think they will move in with Him when they leave here. Yet Jesus said —quite frankly, not everyone will. Matthew 7:21-23
