ACKNOWLEDGE JESUS

I was prompted to minister to a young man the other day. Jesus said, “tell him I’m coming.” I approached the young man and asked him —”Did you know Jesus is coming?” He looked puzzled as he hesitated to answer me. I asked if he belonged to a church. His reply was —yes. Then I asked if his church taught that Jesus is coming. Still perplexed by my question —I assured him that Jesus is coming and we have to be ready. Finally, he responded with —”Oh, I thought you meant a person”. I said, “I did, Jesus is a Person, He is coming soon — and we must be ready.”

Many don’t realize Jesus is a real Person and that He desires to be acknowledged as so. He wants us to know that He has thoughts and feelings as we do. He wants us to experience through our knowing Him that He has emotions, and He goes through things just like we do.

Did you know that Jesus is going though a huge thing right now? He is, and He is heartbroken as He is soon to return and we are not ready. He knows we don’t know that we’re not ready —thus He is reaching out to us to give us that revelation now. He knows if we did know, if we had that revelation —we would be getting ready.

Jesus is long-suffeirng as He waits —He is determined to make Himself known, won’t you listen?.

—2 Peter 3:9 The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people’s conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance. AMPC
