Bridges In The Sky

I woke up the other day from a dream I knew that God gave me.  I dreamt about the main character from a television series I watched.  I watched the show because of the main character; I admired him because of his integrity.  He was always faithful to put others first even though all around him were unfaithful, self-centered people.

In the dream he was dying and to signify there was no answer for him there were what seemed like bridges in the sky.  They were sky-high and there were many of them but each one ended (like it was cut off), there wasn’t a bridge that led anywhere for him.  In my dream I was crying hysterically begging God to do something and then I woke up.

Because I knew the dream was from God, I asked Him what it meant.  He said very plainly, "You don’t have to beg Me."  I knew He was speaking to me about a situation in my life that seemed overwhelming and instead of speaking to the mountain as Jesus taught us (as I teach others to do, as I have done many times before) I was begging God to do something.

It is easy to get off track when you are not focused on the Word of God and His principles.  When we focus more on the problem than the answer we will be overwhelmed, and the problem can overtake us.  But, like the man I was telling you about we have to have integrity and do the right thing all the time, no matter how many don’t believe, we as believers have to believe, no matter how many don’t get healed, we have to press to receive what Jesus already did for us. When we start comparing ourselves to those without integrity, those who don't believe the promises of God and put on their armor, pressing to believe, then we won't be that over-comer God called us to be.

If God would have shown up in the dream He would have said, “Tell him about Me, teach him how to live My way, how to have faith, teach him to speak to his circumstances!

When we speak to the mountain (our circumstances) in faith, what we say will change our circumstances, maybe not right away but they will change.  The key is to know the Word and to keep on hearing the Word until enough faith raises up on the inside of us to the place where we know what we said is happening.  Even though we don’t see it we know our faith it is actively changing our circumstances (moving the mountain).

When Jesus spoke to the fig tree it didn’t wither right away, but it did wither.  I can’t count the times I spoke to my circumstances and they changed, maybe not right away but they changed. Thus, is not that God is saying no I won’t heal you, He is not saying no I won’t do good for you, it is not that He is saying I am a mystery and I want you to suffer but I won't tell you why.  Contrary to that lies the enemy tells, God is saying you are My child and I have given you My permission, My power to change the bad in your life to good. (Luke 10:19, Matthew 28:18-19) Therefore you speak to your circumstance in My name and tell them to change!

Mark 11:20 In the morning, when they were passing along, they noticed that the fig tree was withered [completely] away to its roots. 21 And Peter remembered and said to Him, Master, look! The fig tree which You doomed has withered away! 22 And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. 23 Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place; it will be done for him. 24 For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it]. 25 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop.26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings.
