A GREAT TIME OF TESTING IS AT HAND!

A few months ago God spoke audibly to me about His return. He said, “The hour of Jesus has come!” Then the Holy Spirit said, “What does that mean Lord?” He said, “A time of testing is at hand!” Two days later He spoke audibly again and said, “A great hour of testing is at hand!” Two seconds later He continued saying, “I’m frustrated, obey Me!” He sounded frustrated! It was scary to hear Him like that. In times past each time God spoke to me audibly, He was being stern. I guess you could say as He said along with this Word —He is frustrated with us.

Just like when the disciples frustrated Jesus, Jesus said how long should I put up with you? That is exactly what God is saying to us today. How long shall I put up with you? He is about to return and we are not ready because we won’t obey Him and that is frustrating to Him because it is not His will that one should perish!

God has given us commands yet we disregard what He has said!

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? 23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. Just because we call Him Lord, doesn't mean we will have eternal life. Many think that way and it is frustrating God. It is not hard to understand what Jesus is saying here. But because it doesn't feel good to one's flesh, many disregard His command and make their own rules thinking on that day they’ll be fine and everyone goes to heaven. Not so!

Just the same as God said don’t kill, we make our own law saying it’s okay to kill. Killing an unborn baby many say, is their personal choice. That sin seems really clear to many but anything He said not to do and we do, it is sin. Sin separates us from God and if we practice sin, we won't be going to heaven.

This morning when God woke me up He made this point to me and asked me to share it with you. He asked me to get up but I just laid there. I don't want to admit that, but I have to be transparent with you because that is part of my job. I was tired, but still it is hard to admit, because I love Him and am honored to even hear Him and then I ignore Him. He said when I ask you to get out of bed and you don’t, that is disregarding My command. You may be thinking, I should have a choice as to when I want to get up. Yes I do, I can lay there and ignore Him, but then on that day Jesus will say to me you ignored Me.

Do you know what Jesus showed me though?  He was waking me up to tell me something. He reminded me that is our scheduled time for just Him and I. In not showing up for our appointed time, isn't that ignoring Him? Sorry Jesus.

What if you would ask your child to get up and your child ignored you, you would feel very disrespected!  Maybe even less important?

Besides disrespect, this is a great time of testing. The test is, will you obey Him or won’t you?  Are you going to live with Him for eternity or not? If we don't obey Him we disregard His command. If we disregard His command our future is in hell.

The point of testing us is to show us the truth of who we are and what we are doing. Yes, a wake up call! That said, if He is testing me and I ignore Him, I failed unless I repent and obey Him next time. Thank God He is preparing me for heaven, I love Him for that! Please tell me my sin, tell me more oh God!

Whatever He has said in His Word is a command and He will confirm it in your spirit as His Word. If He prompts you to not eat that cake and you eat it anyway, He is showing you that you have a god before Him. Anything He asks you to let go of and you can’t, it’s a god before Him. His objective in pointing out your sin now is He is to prepare you for that day when you stand before Jesus. He wants it to be so —that you can faithfully call Jesus your Lord!

On that day when you stand before Jesus, you will be naked. Meaning, there will be no covering for your sin. You will stand in your sin and He will have to say He didn't know you because you ignored Him. He certainly does not want to, He tried to correct you but you wouldn't listen. You ignored Him.

Maybe your god is sexual immorality. You know it’s wrong, but you made it right by your own logic. Maybe you even blamed God for making you that way. That’s not what God tells us In His Word, therefore you are compromising His Word. On that day when you stand before Him, well you know, He will say you ignored Him. It’s not worth hell and if you think hell is okay, read the Word of God before you decided that. Make sure you want to go there before you decide it’s fine with you. Weeping and gnashing of teeth doesn't sound good to me!

Romans 8:1 So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him. 9 But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the [Holy] Spirit of God [really] dwells within you [directs and controls you]. But if anyone does not possess the [Holy] Spirit of Christ, he is none of His [he does not belong to Christ, is not truly a child of God]. 10 But if Christ lives in you, [then although] your [natural] body is dead by reason of sin and guilt, the spirit is alive because of [the] righteousness [that He imputes to you]. 11 And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you. 12 So then, brethren, we are debtors, but not to the flesh [we are not obligated to our carnal nature], to live [a life ruled by the standards set up by the dictates] of the flesh. 13 For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever. 14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

It's not hard to let go of sin, it is a decision. If you decide you want God to be your God and you don't want to go to hell, that right there makes it doable, right?  Right, and anything you want to do to please God, God will certainly anoint you to do it!

No addiction is okay, it is a god before God. Addiction is not too hard to overcome, just replace it with God. Read the Word of God, it is life and health to a man's whole body! You will barely have to try when you submit to His Word.

Proverbs 4:20 My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings.21 Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh. AMPC
