Only Believe
Only Believe
Only believing can bring to pass the impossible.
Mark 5:35 While He was still speaking, there came some from the ruler’s house, who said [to Jairus], Your daughter has died. Why bother and distress the Teacher any further? 36 Overhearing but ignoring what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear; only keep on believing. AMPC
Only believe is what Jesus said to Jairus because only believing will bring on the manifestation of what you are believing God for.
Jesus was there to help Jairus keep his focus on the truth. The truth is to only believe the Word of God, not the lie.
We have to keep our focus just as Jesus directed Jairus. Jesus was saying don’t listen to them, they don’t know the truth. If you believe Me rather than them you will see your daughter live. She will live and not die and proclaim what the Lord has done.
I have a dog that God gave me and named. Her name is Macey which means a gift from God. When I held her at the animal hospital she was having seizers in my hand at 5 ounces.
As the veterinarian was telling the bad news and I heard Jesus say on the inside of me, “she will live and not die and proclaim what the Lord has done.” He could see my compassion, just as He could see Jairus compassion for his daughter.
Jesus had all the unbelievers leave Jairus’ house because it takes compassion — which activates faith to make healing happen. It takes love to bring the manifestation of God’s love that heals into the natural realm. It takes compassion to make happen the joy of healing.
The women with issue of blood was desperate, she was sick, but she was compassionate about getting healed. She must have been crawling about hearing Jesus and watching Him heal, even feeling the power around Him to get to the place where she thought if I could just touch the hem of His clothes I know I can be healed.
Her faith from her passionate persistence made her well.
If you want to get well you will be passionate about hearing the Word, which will get you the faith you need to be made well.
Jairus must have been hearing, He waited for Jesus to get off the boat and then knelt before Jesus. And of course Jesus had compassion for him, and his daughter and for the love he had for his daughter.
If we want to see God’s will here on the earth, we have to be a part of it. We have to participate in it and that will take some compassion. That will take us seeking God and knowing His will and even having the compassion He has for His people.
God is calling us to have compassion for each other, to go and to do His work To lay hands on the sick, to encourage each other, to ONLY believe!
We have to make it happen, we have to be His hands and His feet, we have to be who He has called us to be!
