TO YOU HAS BEEN ENTRUSTED
Did you know if you are a follower, then you should know the mysteries of the Kingdom? You should - and what you don’t already know, you should ask because if you are not asking you won't have the revelation knowledge needed to know how to live in the Kingdom of God.
Mark 4:11 And He said to them, To you has been entrusted the mystery of the kingdom of God [that is, the secret counsels of God which are hidden from the ungodly]; but for those outside [of our circle] everything becomes a parable. AMPC
Jesus just told a parable and those around Him asked what the parable meant. Jesus responded with the answer. He said you have been entrusted to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, and then He explained the parable to them. He didn’t answer by saying nope, God is a mystery and you are not to know how to live in His Kingdom. He didn’t say walk in the dark, but, He said I am about to tell you! Why? The disciples and others were following Him wanting to learn the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. They were seeking Him and Jesus said if we seek and keep on seeking, keep on knocking we will find (Matthew 7:7).
When we start seeking God is when God gives revelation knowledge to us and at that same time the enemy will come to try and take that revelation. James tells us how it works. He said to count it all joy because as we push through the enemy testing our faith (the enemy trying to steal that knowledge, God, the Word from us) we will mature; we will develop, and come to the place of not lacking anything. Then he said if we need wisdom while going through, we can ask God and He will give to all liberally and without fault finding. Therefore revelation knowledge, God's wisdom, is confirmed as part of - not lacking anything. God wants us to know Him and how His Kingdom operates and God wants us to be overcomers (Revelation 3:5).
James 1:2 Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. 3 Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience. 4 But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing. 5 If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and
un-grudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him. AMPC
I would like to encourage you then instead of believing the lie of the enemy who tells that we are not to know God and His ways, to take the Word of God literally and apply it, seek the mysteries of the Kingdom and live in them, as we are called to do. Live victoriously in Christ Jesus!
