BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE

Man Running Outdoors

Revelation 3:16 So because you are lukewarm (spiritually useless), and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth [rejecting you with disgust]. AMPC

Many think they are moving in with Jesus one day, yet they are so far from being right with Him; and sadly, they don’t even know it.

If you knew what Jesus was thinking of you, for example, if you knew He was disgusted with your lukewarm status, you’d more than likely do something about it. The truth is, most don’t know what He is thinking because they are not asking. Jesus won’t correct someone who doesn't want to be corrected. He won’t correct you unless you seek Him and His way.

Revelation 3:19 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude] — AMPC

We can assimilate some of those thoughts He has toward us through the written Word; as He does speak to us through His Word ( He is His Word John 1:1). That said, if we don’t seek Him by going to the Word and/or asking His thoughts toward us and not willing to be corrected, then we live a life of deception; life not knowing where we stand with Him and where we will spend our eternity.

Thinking we are right with Him when we aren't is a pretty scary thing, knowing and even not knowing the consequences of our ignorance.

What would He say to you today if you asked His opinion of you? Would He say you are lukewarm and He was disgusted with you? Would He say to forgive? Would He say obey Me? Whatever it is, it is something you need to know so you can change it so you can have eternal life.

Many see no sense in asking Him for various reasons, but most don’t ask because they think they are right with Him; therefore, there is no need to ask. Let me say if that is you, you are assuming you are right with Him. If you are assuming, you don’t know for sure, but you are guessing.

The scary part of guessing is, you might not be. That said, if you are wrong, on that day He will say to you that He didn't know you.

Matthew 7:21-23 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? 23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. AMPC

You’ll be in shock, and you will be the one pleading with Him —but Lord!

You won’t know until then why you weren't in His will, because you didn't know what He was thinking. You were too sure of yourself and even too proud to ask. Maybe you just didn't want to hear it, or thought you would wait until the last minute, and now it's too late to do anything about it.

Check with Him now before it’s too late.
