Revelation 19:7 Let us rejoice and shout for joy [exulting and triumphant]! Let us celebrate and ascribe to Him glory and honor, for the marriage of the Lamb [at last] has come, and His bride has prepared herself. 8 She has been permitted to dress in fine (radiant) linen, dazzling and white—for the fine linen is (signifies, represents) the righteousness (the upright, just, and godly living, deeds, and conduct, and right standing with God) of the saints (God’s holy people). 9 Then [the angel] said to me, Write this down: Blessed (happy, to be envied) are those who are summoned (invited, called) to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said to me [further], These are the true words (the genuine and exact declarations) of God. AMPC

A banquet has been planned —Jesus is coming and if you prepare yourself, you will be His Bride. You will be permitted to dress in fine radiant linen —dazzling and white if you prepared for the day of His arrival.

Preparing to be His bride is as we just read is being righteous, the upright, the just—those who live godly in deeds and conduct.  God's holy people are those who separated themselves unto Him. Those will be permitted to wear the fine linen.   If you haven't been clothed with glory you will not be at the marriage banquet.   Many are called but few chosen—because many are disinterested and refuse to prepare for the occasion of the coming of our Lord Jesus!

When we choose God we will be committed to Him and in our relationship with Him.  In that place of knowing Him and spending time with Him —we will know He is preparing is to stand before Him as His Bride.

As many are so disinterested and about other things  —oblivious to what is happening, God is separating the interested from the disinterested.  God is separating the obedient to the faith, from the not.

The Wedding Banquet

Matthew 22 And again Jesus spoke to them in parables (comparisons, stories used to illustrate and explain), saying, 2 The kingdom of heaven is like a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son 3 And sent his servants to summon those who had been invited to the wedding banquet, but they refused to come. 4 Again he sent other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my banquet; my bullocks and my fat calves are killed, and everything is prepared; come to the wedding feast. 5 But they were not concerned and paid no attention [they ignored and made light of the summons, treating it with contempt] and they went away—one to his farm, another to his business, 6 While the others seized his servants, treated them shamefully, and put them to death. 7 [Hearing this] the king was infuriated; and he sent his soldiers and put those murderers to death and burned their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, The wedding [feast] is prepared, but those invited were not worthy. 9 So go to the thoroughfares where they leave the city [where the main roads and those from the country end] and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find. 10 And those servants went out on the crossroads and got together as many as they found, both bad and good, so [the room in which] the wedding feast [was held] was filled with guests. 11 But when the king came in to view the guests, he looked intently at a man there who had on no wedding garment. 12 And he said, Friend, how did you come in here without putting on the [appropriate] wedding garment? And he was speechless (muzzled, gagged). 13 Then the king said to the attendants, Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the darkness outside; there will be weeping and grinding of teeth. For many are called (invited and summoned), but few are chosen. AMPC

Everyone is invited, but not everyone accepts the invitation. God is not choosing those who are not interested. It is His children who are not choosing Him. God is in love with all of His children, it is not His will that one should perish. But, if we reject Him, He respects our decision. As well in the decision —those who don't choose Him, will not live with Him.

Jesus has gone to the highways and the byways, He has gone to the cross! Jesus went to the grave then to sit with the Father, and still many haven't noticed His love for us.

His love is so much more valuable than all the things we are too busy with. All the things we think we have to have are foolish and a waste of time, time that we should be preparing for meeting Jesus in Person.

Change how you are living now —before it's too late. Get up everyday, get on your knees and ask Jesus His agenda for your day, get ready for that banquet. Time is running short!
