Feeling Good Is Feeling Faith

John 15:11 I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing. AMPC

Don’t you just love it when your faith makes you feel good?  I do, I love to feel good, and feeling good comes from having faith!

If you believe God,you can’t help but be happy because believing God is believing good things. Believing that good things will happen is the basis of our faith in God, and having faith in God is trusting Him.

Therefore when we make a decision to trust God, we are having faith and faith of course requires obedience, and our very act of obedience is actually proof of our faith.

Jesus said I told you all these things so that your joy may be complete!

John 15:10 If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and live on in His love. John 15:11 I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing. AMPC

Our Obedience Is Our Faith

Our joy comes from our obedience to God. When we obey God we have show our faith in God.  By obeying God we are saying, I trust You Lord!  When we trust Him we are going to do whatever He tells us to do!

You can notice a person in faith, they’re always happy. That person in faith (because of their obedience to God), will not only be exuberant, but that person will exhilarate those around him.  That person will be full of joy, and that person will be the person who will receive from God.

John 15:7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. AMPC

Having faith in God is being in agreement with God.  Being in agreement with God produces complete JOY!

Contrary to faith and joy then is the person who chooses to doubt. That person is easily recognized as the one who is sad and depressed.

Doubt is an oppression, disheartening, stressful and overbearing —definitely not God’s intention for our lives.

Acts 10:38  How God anointed and consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the [Holy] Spirit and with strength and ability and power; how He went about doing good and, in particular, curing all who were harassed and oppressed by [the power of] the devil, for God was with Him. AMPC

Doubt is an enemy, the enemy who is against what God wants for us.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. AMPC

Isn't trusting Jesus taking a chance?   No, it’s taking a chance not to trust Him.  Living by luck is a chance, living by faith is living blessed, it’s living in surety!

Romans 10:11 The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed. AMPC

One visit with Jesus — you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you can trust Him and that you won't be disappointed!
