What God Has In Mind For You

1 Corinthians 2:9 But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed].

When we love God He has good in mind for us and is keeping those good things ready for us. The thing is, is that we often let the enemy tell us otherwise. When we stray from keeping our mind set on God, we let the enemy lie to us and we loose our faith in God. Letting go of what God has promised us even prolongs those good things God has for us from happening. The reason being is we sway in and out of faith and can’t receive from God except by faith. Of course exactly the enemies plan.

What God is saying to us today is don’t get weary in well doing, don’t let the enemy talk you out of the good I have for you. I have good in mind for you and I am working on your behalf to bring that good to pass. Keep your focus on Me and resist the lie.

If we stay in constant communication with God and let Him pour out His love on us we can keep from letting the enemy make us anxious. When we resist Satan and his lies and look to God continually, we will live in that constant peace of knowing God is working things out for our good.

Our obedience to Him is our proof of our faith in Him which brings us to a place of complete confidence in knowing He will do what He said He would do. God said those who love Him will obey Him (John 14:21). Therefore by obeying Him we qualify for those who love Him.

I would like to encourage you in those times the enemy comes to try and get you to doubt God to spend more time with God and even ask God the plan, the good He is working out for you.

1 Corinthians 2:10 Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man’s scrutiny].

Knowing God’s plan makes it so much easier to keep believing God.

1 Corinthians 2:16 For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart.

God is always there to encourage us, our part is to go to Him and find out what we need to know to continue in our faith in Him.
