More Word More Power

Mark 4:24 And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you—and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.

The more Word we hear the more of God’s favor and power we will experience in our lives. The more we hear the Word of God, the more attention we pay to it, the more we will know about God, the more we know Him personally, and the more faith we will have to receive His promises.

The more Word we have, the more revelation we will have, which is vital for us to manifest Gods power in our lives which allows God to show Himself through us.

When we have God’s revelation power in our lives we are showing that God is real and His promises are true.

Many times it is believed that we don’t have to have miracles and healings, we don’t need to display God’s power because salvation is the most important. Yes salvation is important, but miracles and healings (God’s manifested power in our lives), are not only a part of salvation, but an attraction for others to see God’s goodness

Our commitment as Christians (as showing appreciation to God for His goodness and to care about His children as He does), should be to learn how to receive from Him. God wants us to show that He is good, just as Jesus did when He was here.

Living calling ourselves Christians but without all that God has for us, doesn’t make God look good. In fact, it makes God look bad. It makes Him look as if He doesn’t care that we are sick, broke, and miserable.

The thing is, if we heard the Word enough we would know His heart and learn of Him, and how to receive from Him as He intended. If we’re not paying attention we will blend into the worlds way living separated from Him, rather than showing Him.

Luke 4:25 For to him who has will more be given; and from him who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away [by force],

If we’re not paying attention to what we hear, even the little we do know about God will be taken from us by the enemy. Jesus said Satan is out to kill, steal, and destroy in our lives and He has come that we have a good abundant life (John 10:10).

Jesus also said as soon as we hear, as soon as we start paying attention to the Word, Satan would come and try to take it from us. Jesus didn’t say He would stop Satan from taking from us, but He warned us he would come steal the Word, God from us and how (Mark 4:15-19).

Therefore we are to be on top of the situation, we are to be aware of Satan’s tactics and overcome by hearing the Word paying attention to it by doing the Word.

Press in to hear the Word and take heed to it, and you will be the over comer God has called you to be! It is not about sitting around waiting for Jesus to come and do something about Satan for you, but to be the over comer you were called to be.

Matthew 28:18 Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.19 Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 18:18 Truly I tell you, whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be what is already forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful on earth must be what is already permitted in heaven.
