ONE DAY WITH KING JESUS

I kept hearing this until I asked Jesus what He wanted, what are you saying to me Jesus?  He said— if a person would just give Him one day of their time He could show one how much He loves them and they would believe that love.  When a person only hears that I love them, it is only surface deep, they love to hear it, it is nice but has no root, no meaning.

It takes root to know Jesus and no not only one day would suffice, but one day would get one wanting more days.  In a day He can do so much more for one than one can do in a lifetime.

If one would just try Him on so to say then they would know for themselves the love He has to give to them.

You can’t have someone else's revelation, you have to have your own.  If you are in love with someone you can’t share those feelings you have, those emotions are yours.  You can describe how you feel but you cannot transfer those feelings.

Jesus said that is what many do. They live on another's opinion of Him which makes Him null, even void, with no effect in their lives.

Think with me a moment.  If I tried to tell you about Jesus and convince you of how wonderful He is.  If I faithfully told you all of my conversations with Him and all of the times we had together.  How does that make you know Jesus? Does that make you an acquaintance?   Someone you have never met, but still you call that Someone someone you know?  That does not work, yet many do that very thing.  Many know all about Jesus, but have absolutely no communication with Him.  No conversations to share or stories to tell.

When I was in heaven with Jesus He said we would reminisce of how we overcame to get to that place of sitting with Him at the table.  What He meant is what He said in His Word. The Kingdom of God is taken by force.

Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize—a  share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion]. AMPC

You can't just hear about the Kingdom of God and then say you are going.  The Word tells us to have our name in the Book Of Life, we have to be over-comers.

Revelation 3:12 He who overcomes (is victorious), I will make him a pillar in the sanctuary of My God; he shall never be put out of it or go out of it, and I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which descends from My God out of heaven, and My own new name. AMPC

Revelation 3:5  Thus shall he who conquers (is victorious) be clad in white garments, and I will not erase or blot out his name from the Book of Life; I will acknowledge him [as Mine] and I will confess his name openly before My Father and before His angels. AMPC

Knowing Jesus is a threat to the enemy and because it is, the enemy is going to try and steal Jesus from you (Mark 4:15).  You are going to go through some spiritual warfare if you know Jesus.

It is not a relationship you only hear about, but one you have to have.  This relationship is a very serious one, one that is going to change your life. Knowing Jesus is your journey to that dwelling place, to that home He has prepared for you if you know Him.  Without the journey you are not going to the forever dwelling place with Him.  Right?  If you are not on that journey you are stagnant, taking whatever happens as happening for a reason.  The reason nothing is happening so it seems, is you are not on the journey to fight your way home.

The journey you will be learning to go home to your forever dwelling place is taken with Jesus. This life here is temporary and from here we will go to heaven if we know Jesus, but hell if you don't.   Hell is happening and if you don't fight, you will end up there!  Fight?  Yes the fight is to believe.  If you believe is the question, and if you do, you will go after the Kingdom of God! You will fight to have Jesus, it is up to you to get to know Him and quickly for the time is short and He will be here.  Ready yourself!

Matthew 25:11 Later the other virgins also came and said, Lord, Lord, open [the door] to us! 12 But He replied, I solemnly declare to you, I do not know you [I am not acquainted with you]. 13 Watch therefore [give strict attention and be cautious and active], for you know neither the day nor the hour when the Son of Man will come.  DON'T IGNORE JESUS!

I want to share a dream I had Jesus recently remind me of. I had the dream about five years ago and now it seems significant in that His return is upon us. In the dream I was standing on a mountain top watching for Jesus. It was scary, alarming even, because there were only a handful of us watching for Jesus.

The reason it is so significant now in this time for me is —it goes along with what He has recently been making so real to me. And, that is that many are not watching for Him, making it impossible for Him to rescue those.

I was recently in heaven with Jesus at the banquet table and noticed that the table was only a quarter way full. The mountain top was practically empty which compares to the table. Many are missing it, many are not ready for Jesus to return. The reason Jesus didn't come yet is because He is trying to get our attention. He wants us to understand we need to be ready. The plan is that none should perish. It is time for His return, the hour is at hand but many, not a few, but many are not watching for Him and that grieves Him.

When Jesus comes we must be prepared for Him, it is not a trip one qualifies for without planning for it. If you are going to take a trip somewhere there is some planning involved. How much will it cost? When are you going to be ready? How will you get there? What kind of accommodations are you expecting? What if you don't like it there, where you thought you wanted to go? What if you are not ready and you miss your flight, assuming you will fly?

Has Jesus even prepared a place for you? Do you know, have you talked to Him about it? Do you know when He is coming? You should know the season, you may not know the day or the exact hour, which is why you want to be on the lookout for Him —but you should have heard Him warn you —He is near.

Are you sure you will like it there? How will you get there, do you know? What will it cost you, have you asked Jesus the cost? He did say many will miss it because they ignored the cost. Will you be ready, are you packed? Be sure you know what’s happening. The Word tells us God’s people perish for a lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). For your own peace of mind, ask yourself these questions I challenged you with.

Those listening have heard His yearning, His warning — to prepare for Him, to heed His voice. If you can't hear Him how will you heed His voice? You may call Him Lord, but that doesn't seem to matter in this instance.

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? 23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. AMPC

Don't ignore Him, please!

Will you be surprised when Jesus comes or do you live in the light? Do you think everything is going to get better or do you know Jesus is about to open that door? If you don't know Jesus is at the door, if you haven't heard Him knocking, you haven't been giving Him your attention.

If He hasn't approached you personally then I would suggest to you, you are distracted. If you are distracted, quickly change your focus. No matter if you are distracted with worry, depression, un-forgiveness, a hobby, whatever it is, you will miss Him if you are distracted. If you are distracted, know you have a god before God. Whatever you put before Jesus, is your god.

This is an urgent time to be sure you know Jesus and you are right with Him. Drop everything, run to Jesus and find out from Him where you're at with Him. Ask Him to talk to you about His return, ask Him what you have to do to be ready for His return.

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. We are in a critical time and things are not going to get better as some think. The Bible tells us things will only get worse (Matthew 24). The signs are here, Jesus is about to open the door. He is coming to rescue us who are looking for Him. He has warned those of us who have been listening to Him. Those of us who are ready and watching —He has commissioned us to tell you, He is about to show up. His instruction is for you to get on your knees and talk it out with HIm. Ask Him what you have to do to be ready.

1 Thessalonians 5:1 But as to the suitable times and the precise seasons and dates, brethren, you have no necessity for anything being written to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly well that the day of the [return of the] Lord will come [as unexpectedly and suddenly] as a thief in the night. 3 When people are saying, All is well and secure, and, There is peace and safety, then in a moment unforeseen destruction (ruin and death) will come upon them as suddenly as labor pains come upon a woman with child; and they shall by no means escape, for there will be no escape. 4 But you are not in [given up to the power of] darkness, brethren, for that day to overtake you by surprise like a thief.5 For you are all sons of light and sons of the day; we do not belong either to the night or to darkness. 6 Accordingly then, let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake (alert, watchful, cautious, and on our guard) and let us be sober (calm, collected, and circumspect). 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are drunk, get drunk at night. 8 But we belong to the day; therefore, let us be sober and put on the breastplate (corset) of faith and love and for a helmet the hope of salvation. AMPC

If you have never made Jesus the Lord of your life, do it now! Invite Him in your heart and get to know Him now. He is His Word so all you have to do is get to know the Word (John 1:1). When you know the Word, you will come to know Jesus. You can't know Him at the last minute, you have to know Him before He gets here.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me. AMPC

The forecast today is reading that Jesus is close at hand, the hour of His return here!  He is about to open that door! What can you do to be ready? Jesus said watch for Him everyday, as if He is coming today. If we don't watch and pray He said it will seem for that person that a thief has come.

What He means is if you are not watching, then when He comes whatever you were paying more attention to will have you trapped! You won't be ready because that trap is —that thing you are so engrossed with.  That thing that preoccupies your time, it will kept you from actively watching for Jesus —thus it is your god. Because it took over your time, it was more important to you than Jesus was.

Then when you see Jesus, you will know you were unfaithful to Him!  Consequently, you will wish He wouldn't have come (it will be like a thief came to steal your identity) because you know you missed it!  You will have wished you would have been watching for Him! That you were who you said you were!

Quickly, before it is too late get all your attention on Jesus!  Get on your knees fast and pray —asking Jesus how you should be actively waiting for Him.  Have nothing to do with other god’s.  Don't let something silly and temporary, steal your eternity with Jesus from you.

Watch and Pray!

Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore [give strict attention, be cautious and active], for you do not know in what kind of a day [whether a near or remote one] your Lord is coming.

43 But understand this: had the householder known in what [part of the night, whether in a night or a morning] watch the thief was coming, he would have watched and would not have allowed his house to be undermined and broken into.

44 You also must be ready therefore, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him.

45 Who then is the faithful, thoughtful, and wise servant, whom his master has put in charge of his household to give to the others the food and supplies at the proper time?

46 Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) is that servant whom, when his master comes, he will find so doing.

47 I solemnly declare to you, he will set him over all his possessions.

48 But if that servant is wicked and says to himself, My master is delayed and is going to be gone a long time,

49 And begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with the drunken,

50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour of which he is not aware,

51 And will punish him [cut him up by scourging] and put him with the pretenders (hypocrites); there will be weeping and grinding of teeth. AMPC

Scary, watch and pray please!

If You Really Want To Know

If you really want to know.  God said that to me one day.  I asked Him a question and He said if you really want to know meet Me here tomorrow morning at this time.  Wow, it was audible and turned out to be a big todo!  It was a correction and one I have been commissioned in.

Later He showed me most people walk in the dark, because they really don't want to know.  He said many don't ask Him questions because they really don't want to know.

The Bible tells us to seek, and we will find, knock and the door will be opened (Matthew 7:7), but many don’t.  That is why many are ignorant of Him.  Hosea tells us we perish for a lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6).

It is not like God is holding out on us, but the fact is, is the many keep closing the door on Him.  Lots of times I witness people looking at things God is showing them.  They look for a quick second, decide they don't like it and quickly turn away acting like they never even looked.

I heard God say something through someone.  He told one of His daughters to tell that many people are ignorantly falling into hell.  Notice He said many.

Why is this happening?  Because many are looking away, they don't want to see it or hear it.  Many don't want to be told what to do.  Many people don't think like God’s ways, so they ignore Him. They look away from what He said.  That is why people go to hell.  Not that God is ordaining it but that God gives us choice (Deuteronomy 30:19).  We can choose God or we can live self willed which is opposed to God.  Thus choosing to be self willed we are our own god.   The enemy is self willed and like him then if you are self willed, you will be thrown into the furnace with him.  Yes that is scary but true!

Please do something about it now before it is too late.  Repent, read the Word and be sure you are not ignoring God. If you are you will by your own choice, be ignorantly be falling into the pit of hell.  Hell was not made for you, you won’t like it there, there will be no love there at all, it is eternal suffering!  Give God a chance, look at what He has to say in His Word! He is good, His ways are good and you will see that if you give Him a chance to show Himself to you.  Heaven was made for you, to live there with your Father, please plan to go there.

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? 23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. AMPC

Do a self exam, get on your knees make sure you are not one of the many that are ignoring Him.  Don't be prideful, you don't know it all, He does!!   Jesus is warning us that He is coming soon and so our time is short to get ready.  Get ready then be sure you didn't ignore even one thing He said to do.

Did you know that your happiness comes from obeying God?  Jesus said, if you obey Me —My joy in you will be complete!

John 15:9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. AMPC

During my time with Jesus this morning I saw this graph.  It was a graph of obedience.  At one end was the happiest face ever, which meant complete obedience to Him.  At the other end of the graph was the saddest face ever.  In between were the stages going from saddest to happiest.  As childish as such a graph may seem it gets His point across loud and clear.  Like that saying; pictures speak louder than words.

Jesus was showing me that when we are sad, like really sad —it is because we didn't obey Him.  I had just that experience the day before.  He told me to do something and I didn't do it.  When He told me to do it, I was excited—my happiest ever face!  Then as Jesus warned the enemy came, and I let him steal that Word from me.  I didn't recognize it until Jesus pointed it out.  Even before the graph, I realized that I lost my joy from my unbelief in that good news, in that instruction He gave me. On the graph I was the middle face, not so happy anymore and on my way to sadder.  But I fixed it by doing what Jesus told me to do —and now I am happiest again!

I was thinking on the scale that as sad as one might get —it is a good indication of not being right with Jesus, and a red flag as to if you will or will not enter into eternal life or not.

Don't let the enemy talk you out of the good Jesus has for you, graph your facial expression and see where you are on that graph.  If you are not your happiest, then see where you missed it!  Ask Jesus what instruction you missed and then fix it by doing that instruction quickly!

I want to reiterate —it is so important that we obey Jesus in everything He instructs us to do. Even in those instructions that you want to do, but don't do them because the enemy convinced you, you deserve it.  That kind of thinking is not in agreement with Jesus, but the enemy.  He has no good in mind for you and he is out to steal your eternity with Jesus from you.  He knows your obedience will be rewarded as eternal life!  Don't let him steal from you, tell him NO!

Stay happy and enter into eternal life as your reward. Receive your crown as an overcomer!   How much better does it get, to be happy and have eternal life?  Love You Jesus, You are so good to us!

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? 23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. AMPC

GOD WANTS to bless us but if we won't obey Him, He actually can't.  You might be thinking, He can't?  God can do anything, He can bless me if He wants to.  No He really can't.   Unless you obey Him He can't do anything.  Either you are for Him or against Him (Matthew 12:30) and if you don't obey Him —you are in His perspective against Him.

I learned this when my son was born.  God showed up in the midst of the doctor telling me my baby had a birth defect.  In His kindness, His love and mercy —He was there for me even though I hadn't been obedient to Him.  I hadn't even called upon Him yet —and He was there to comfort me.  But, He said there was nothing He could do.  But then He said —I would see my son healed.

I didn't know what that meant at the time, but I hung on to His Words—you will see your son healed.   Later He taught me that He can’t do anything outside of His Word. God is faithful to His own Word. He will do what He said He would do.  He said —if you fully obey Me I can bless you.  If you don’t you live under the curse (Deuteronomy 28: .  That certainly is not His choice but if that is what we choose, then that is how it will be because He gave us choice ( Deuteronomy 30:19).

It’s automatic.  The choices we make determine which Kingdom we live in.  if we fully obey Him, then we live in His Kingdom, but if we don’t we live separated from Him.  Living separated from Him, is a terrible thing.  Once you are accustomed to living with God and in His blessings, it is horrifying to live any other way —in my opinion.  To think you can live blessed and it doesn't happen is also not great, but depressing.  Many live that way though because they don't know any better as I did and still do from time to time, if I don't listen.  The reason we might live this way is that we were taught wrong. And we didn’t study God for ourselves.  The Bible tells us to study to show ourselves approved.  We have to study God and His ways for ourselves.  Then when we know what to do, just do it!  Listen to Him because He wants us to live in His Kingdom and live blessed beyond measure!   And the only way to do that is to obey Him.

Living deceived is not how God wants us to live but, it is how we will live if we don't take the time to know Him for ourselves.  That said —the same is true for our eternity, if we don't obey Him we will live separated from Him.  You may think on that day everything will be fine, but when you get there you will see the truth. Don't ignore what He said, He will do what He said He would do. How about looking at the truth now before it is too late?  Let Him correct you now so when you stand before Him you are not condemned to lawlessness.

Revelation 3:19 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude]. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.  AMPC

BEHOLD I AM COMING QUICKLY

Revelation 22:12 Behold, I am coming soon, and I shall bring My wages and rewards with Me, to repay and render to each one just what his own actions and his own work merit. AMPC

Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. NKJV

One day, God said this to me. “You will be richly rewarded.” Not knowing of this reward, I just obliged Him. Just knowing it was His will for me to obey, made my heart tender toward His wish. Not to mention, His love and compassion for the situation He was using me in. How could I say no after that revelation. The revelation? Yes, knowing what He is thinking and revealing to us   is revelation. To me is knowing how He is feeling and knowing how His heart throbs for each one of His children —feeling His compassion toward them, is a privilege I cherish. Knowing how much He loves motivates me to try to keep up with Him.

Many times we try to get out of doing things that are uncomfortable. But let me urge you to do that uncomfortable thing. That discomfort is God moving in your heart to recreate you in His likeness.

Getting ready for Jesus will be uncomfortable as God moves in us, transforming us into His likeness. Thus bringing us into agreement with Him. God will lead you in His work and that work is getting ready for His return, and of course your reward. God's way is a work (an action of obedience) and as you do the things He is calling you to do —you will be richly rewarded.

You can confirm in your spirit —and in this verse. To give to every man according to His work is the reward for putting yourself aside and being about His business. Working as a laborer for His Kingdom is your ultimate goal.

We work so hard for earthly wealth, for material things that have no eternal value. In being caught up in that race we neglect the real race we are in. The reality of our lives here is to be an overcomer. This life is to win, to overcome the Kingdom of darkness and live in God's Kingdom—the Kingdom of light.

There is a greater work to do for the King! It is definitely not that of self. Not to be self absorbed—full of yourself, but full of Jesus!

It is a trick to be concerned with earthly wealth, in which we have been warned of by Jesus. But still we give into it because we give our flesh first place. Giving our flesh first place leads to too much time and attention on us. Like the rich man when push comes to shove, our flesh will rule.

If we would give God our first attention— we wouldn't be giving time and attention to things that will perish. Getting our priorities right will get our perspective right.  If we get up everyday and seek Him and listen to His voice first, before anything else—we would be getting ready for eternity.  Rather than feeding our flesh we would be seeing the importance of getting ready to meet Jesus.

We would see that the Kingdom of God is here —and He is about to open that door.  Thus it is of most importance if we would look to Him first.  Keep Him first.  Jesus said seek first the Kingdom and then what you need would be added to you.  If you dethrone what Jesus said and first seek stuff, then that is where you will be stuck—chasing after things of lesser value than the Kingdom of God.  Thus. ending up in that lesser place than living in eternity with God when you leave here.

Catering to our flesh is wasting valuable time that should be spent preparing for Jesus.

Most think God isn't valuable enough that we should spend anything on Him, especially time.  Instead, many are absorbed in what they can see —which is in what is perishing. Having no idea of things to come they have fallen into Satan's trap of destruction.

If we would focus on God we would see His heart and that He is —love undeniable!  His abundance of love isn't known to a person who won't take that time to know Him.  His goodness is extraordinary! But as it is, we don't take the time to know Him so we really have no idea what He is made of.

We have no idea of His hopes and dreams for us. His plans for us, as His own children. His thoughts are not our thoughts, His ways are much higher than our ways. God wants to share His ways with us, He wants so much more for us that we can't even imagine. Until we sit with Him and let Him impart His thoughts to us we will not know Him.

HE HAS THAT MUCH GOOD IN HIM

If you knew how much good He had for you, would He then be your top priority?  What moves you toward God?  What motivates you? The answer is desperation.

Be desperate to live with Him instead of deceived into thinking everyone will go to Heaven.  Leave that filthy life you live without Him and live with Him for eternity. Leave your theories and reasonings that are less than —and seek Him and His opinion.

Only He knows, spend time with Him—to know the value of sitting with Him.  No one can tell you how His presence will change your life—only your experience will.  By my experience may I beckon you to go sit with Him —so you can know He is wonderful!  Nothing else can fill your every need as He can.

HIS REWARD —HIS WORK

If He will reward you for doing His work doesn't that prove how important to Him His quest is?  What is His quest?  That everyone could live with Him. That everyone would know Him, that we could all live with Him forever!

We love and spend time watching movies with adventure in them, but we’re missing the one we are in.  We are here to win a war for God— to be over-comers for the reward of eternity with Jesus.  Without effort in this adventure hell will be automatic.

Since workers are scarce, Satan is running his course freely.  He uses instant self gratification as his ploy—on even the elect.  Jesus said even the elect would be deceived (Matthew 24:24).

One deception I would like to mention is the one where many are confused between our works and Gods.  Our works are as filthy rags.  They are indeed.  If you think you can be a good person without Jesus that is so, you are doing a work to get to heaven.  Doing something to worm your way into heaven will cause you to be out of dress code at the banquet.  You will be noticed and thrown into the outer darkness where there is weeping gnashing of teeth.  But to obey the Word is the very thing we need to do to have permission to be dressed as His bride.

In other words, in your relationship with Him is where you will find your garment.  Being in relationship with Jesus and being corrected—led to His work is to be that overcomer.  That is the work God will reward you for. His work—His heart that you partook in caring about.

Yes you were saved by grace, no you didn't deserve it.   Jesus  took your sin for you, to sin no more.  Now His power lives in you to resist sin, to be recreated and to do His work!  To overcome as He abides in you, and you in Him.

Revelation 3:5 Thus shall he who conquers (is victorious) be clad in white garments, and I will not erase or blot out his name from the Book of Life; I will acknowledge him [as Mine] and I will confess his name openly before My Father and before His angels. AMPC

To overcome?  Yes you must overcome.  Don't let Satan rule you. Stop letting him even talk to you.  If you oblige him, he is going to take you straight to hell.  He will use your flesh to control you —so get your flesh under control.

It is not a flesh ruled state a Christian lives in —but a Spirit ruled.  Come in agreement with God if you want to live with God!

Romans 8:5 For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit. 6 Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].

—THE FLESH GATHERERS TREASURES  ON THE EARTH, THE SPIRIT —TREASURES IN HEAVEN.

Matthew 6:19 Do not gather and heap up and store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust and worm consume and destroy, and where thieves break through and steal. 20 But gather and heap up and store for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust nor worm consume and destroy, and where thieves do not break through and steal; 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 22 The eye is the lamp of the body. So if your eye is sound, your entire body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is unsound, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the very light in you [your conscience] is darkened, how dense is that darkness! 24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stand by and be devoted to the one and despise and be against the other. You cannot serve God and mammon ( deceitful riches, money, possessions, or whatever is trusted in). AMPC

Jesus is coming and it will be soon. Therefore you have to make a choice and you have to make it now.  There isn't much more time to prepare.

I don't know His reward for you, but I know it will be more than you can ever imagine and much greater than — the now self gratification you may be living in!  I know His reward in part —and that is life with Him forever!  I know His reward is good — more than you and I can ask or think!

Stop worrying now and rest in Him, give Him your time.  Life is much greater in value than running after things. If you stop the race of getting, you will see your provision is of like the birds—at hand. He will make sure you are fed.

Matthew 6:25 Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater [in quality] than food, and the body [far above and more excellent] than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they? AMPC

Matthew 6:31 Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear? 32 The Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all. 33 But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. AMPC

Revelation 19:7 Let us rejoice and shout for joy [exulting and triumphant]! Let us celebrate and ascribe to Him glory and honor, for the marriage of the Lamb [at last] has come, and His bride has prepared herself. 8 She has been permitted to dress in fine (radiant) linen, dazzling and white—for the fine linen is (signifies, represents) the righteousness (the upright, just, and godly living, deeds, and conduct, and right standing with God) of the saints (God’s holy people). 9 Then [the angel] said to me, Write this down: Blessed (happy, to be envied) are those who are summoned (invited, called) to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said to me [further], These are the true words (the genuine and exact declarations) of God. AMPC

A banquet has been planned —Jesus is coming and if you prepare yourself, you will be His Bride. You will be permitted to dress in fine radiant linen —dazzling and white if you prepared for the day of His arrival.

Preparing to be His bride is as we just read is being righteous, the upright, the just—those who live godly in deeds and conduct.  God's holy people are those who separated themselves unto Him. Those will be permitted to wear the fine linen.   If you haven't been clothed with glory you will not be at the marriage banquet.   Many are called but few chosen—because many are disinterested and refuse to prepare for the occasion of the coming of our Lord Jesus!

When we choose God we will be committed to Him and in our relationship with Him.  In that place of knowing Him and spending time with Him —we will know He is preparing is to stand before Him as His Bride.

As many are so disinterested and about other things  —oblivious to what is happening, God is separating the interested from the disinterested.  God is separating the obedient to the faith, from the not.

The Wedding Banquet

Matthew 22 And again Jesus spoke to them in parables (comparisons, stories used to illustrate and explain), saying, 2 The kingdom of heaven is like a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son 3 And sent his servants to summon those who had been invited to the wedding banquet, but they refused to come. 4 Again he sent other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my banquet; my bullocks and my fat calves are killed, and everything is prepared; come to the wedding feast. 5 But they were not concerned and paid no attention [they ignored and made light of the summons, treating it with contempt] and they went away—one to his farm, another to his business, 6 While the others seized his servants, treated them shamefully, and put them to death. 7 [Hearing this] the king was infuriated; and he sent his soldiers and put those murderers to death and burned their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, The wedding [feast] is prepared, but those invited were not worthy. 9 So go to the thoroughfares where they leave the city [where the main roads and those from the country end] and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find. 10 And those servants went out on the crossroads and got together as many as they found, both bad and good, so [the room in which] the wedding feast [was held] was filled with guests. 11 But when the king came in to view the guests, he looked intently at a man there who had on no wedding garment. 12 And he said, Friend, how did you come in here without putting on the [appropriate] wedding garment? And he was speechless (muzzled, gagged). 13 Then the king said to the attendants, Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the darkness outside; there will be weeping and grinding of teeth. For many are called (invited and summoned), but few are chosen. AMPC

Everyone is invited, but not everyone accepts the invitation. God is not choosing those who are not interested. It is His children who are not choosing Him. God is in love with all of His children, it is not His will that one should perish. But, if we reject Him, He respects our decision. As well in the decision —those who don't choose Him, will not live with Him.

Jesus has gone to the highways and the byways, He has gone to the cross! Jesus went to the grave then to sit with the Father, and still many haven't noticed His love for us.

His love is so much more valuable than all the things we are too busy with. All the things we think we have to have are foolish and a waste of time, time that we should be preparing for meeting Jesus in Person.

Change how you are living now —before it's too late. Get up everyday, get on your knees and ask Jesus His agenda for your day, get ready for that banquet. Time is running short!

IF YOU LOVE ME

Many times I have asked, “Lord why is this taking so long?”  He is so patient with me and repeats this phrase to me yet again.

If you love Me, you will obey Me.  Then He reminds me of what He told me to do that I had not done yet.  It is usually something I have put off and then forgot about, or something I just don't want to do.

God actually can't move in our lives if we don't obey Him because our obedience is faith in Him. God does not manifest Himself in doubt, but faith.  He is pleased when you trust Him!

John  14:21 The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.] AMPC

Don't Be Led Astray

Jesus warned us that we should be careful what we believe, and for a good reason.  He was talking about overcoming and the signs that would take place before He returned —how to be prepared to go with Him in the end.  He said there would be false prophets.  He said many will be deceived by them.

Matthew 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders so as to deceive and lead astray, if possible, even the elect (God’s chosen ones). AMPC

Many believe what they hear rather than look in the Word for themselves.  In so doing they are led astray.  Believing a lie is living a lie and that lie will separate those who live it —from Jesus.

The Word of God is convicting and when heard, many walk away.  Instead of the truth they have itchy ears —wanting to hear only what satisfies their flesh.

2 Timothy 3:3 For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold, 4 And will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions. AMPC

But the truth really is what you want to hear.  If you hear the truth, you will live the truth and the truth is what sets you free —and qualifies you as a disciple.  The truth will set you free and it will prepare you for things to come.

The return of Jesus is at hand therefore we need to prepare for His return by hearing and knowing His Word so we can be a doer of it.  Jesus is expecting that we live the truth not only for our eternity with Him, but as a witness for Him for the sake of the lost.

John 8:31 So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. 32 And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free. AMPC

If we don't do the Word Jesus said we are rejecting Him.  Either we are for Him or against Him. There is no middle ground. If we don't do the Word, then on that day He will say He didn't know us (Matthew 7:21-23).

Be a true disciple and help Jesus prepare for His return!

On that day that when we stand before God the truth of our lives will be exposed —no longer hidden.

Isaiah 2:9 And the common man is bowed down [before idols], also the great man is brought low and humbles himself—therefore forgive them not [O Lord]. AMPC

It's common for people to have things they depend on and those people or things they depend on are idols, gods before God.

On that day you want to make sure you don't have any idols.  That day when we stand before God we will see His jealousy and know for sure that anything that we had put before Him detests Him.

So why not get it right now today? Let Him expose your heart to you now —so on that day you will not be rejected.

Ask Him to correct you now.

Revelation 3:19 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude].  AMPC

Get excited about being corrected because God is preparing you now, if you let Him —for that life with Him when you leave here.

Having a god before Him is having an idol. Having an idol is rejecting Him, thus on that day He will reject you.

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. AMPC

You won't see it on your own—that is why we need His correction.  If you are willing He will show you that place where you are   disregarding His command. He is excited you want to know and get it right.  Next, ask Him to help you fix it and He of course will.

Once you have completed that correction, ask for more.  Get cleaned up before He gets here —get the spots and wrinkles ironed out before He comes!

If you decide to sin God can’t do anything for you.

Romans 2:11 For God shows no partiality [undue favor or unfairness; with Him one man is not different from another].12 All who have sinned without the Law will also perish without [regard to] the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged and condemned by the Law.13 For it is not merely hearing the Law [read] that makes one righteous before God, but it is the doers of the Law who will be held guiltless and acquitted and justified. AMPC

When you know what to do and you don't do it, it is sin and then the result of sin is judgment and condemnation.  Most people sin because they think it is okay —normal, or it is too hard not to.

The truth is you have been set free from sin, you don't have to sin anymore if you have asked Jesus to live in you.  Then because Jesus lives in you He will empower you to live a separated life, from sin.  A life free of bondage which is what sin is —bondage.

Just ask Him to help you, all you have to do is make a decision and He will strengthen you then to resist sin.  When you allow sin in your life you will live in condemnation. That is not what God intended for you, but He gives you free choice.

All you have to do is decide and then rely on Him to empower you.  In your weakness His grace is all you need, plenty enough for you to overcome!

2 Corinthians 12:9 But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any

danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and

show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that

the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me! AMPC

When you decide not to sin and live in agreement with God, blessings will overtake you. God then is able to do more for you than you can ask or think (Ephesians 3:20)! Obedience equals blessings!

Jesus is telling me to tell everyone we are not ready for His return.  He asked me to tell—He is coming and we are not ready. He said we are not ready because we don't obey Him.  Quickly get on your knees and make sure you are right with Him.  Ask Him if you have disregarded one of His commands.  Even one command counts.  Then fix it, do whatever it is He tells you to do.  No command is too small, do them all!

James 2:10 For whosoever keeps the Law [as a] whole but stumbles and offends in one [single instance] has become guilty of [breaking] all of it.

GOING TO HEAVEN OR HELL WHEN YOU LEAVE HERE?

I Know that is a bold question, but someone has to ask it.

Popular opinion is that everyone goes to heaven —yet that is just not true.  Jesus said not everyone will enter the Kingdom of Heaven!

AMPC

Everyone goes to heaven no matter what they do —is a lie! The truth is the enemy wants you to believe that lie so he can get you to go to hell.  The enemy is opposed to God and tries his best to kill, steal, and destroy.  Jesus on the other hand came to give you life to the full until it overflows.

John 10:10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).  AMPC

So who will you choose? Whose opinion will you live by, who will you come into agreement with?  The enemy who tells everyone goes to heaven, sit back, take it easy, you can do what you want to do?

Or will you live by the Words of Jesus who said love, go tell—tell I am coming.  Do the Word, obey Me — abide in Me, agree with Me, so you can live with Me!

If you decide you want to go to heaven, if you want to live with Jesus when you leave here —now is the time to get ready and obey the Father.  If you don't obey Him you will not go to heaven.

Why is it so black and white?  Because  either you are for Him or against Him —you have to be on His side—in agreement with Him to live with Him.  Why would you want to live with someone you don't agree with?

Today I want to teach you how you can obey the Father so you can go to heaven when you leave here.

Many think it is a given and everyone goes to heaven —but that is not so.  Although It is not the will of the Father that anyone should perish— many will because of their disobedience in doing the will of the Father.

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. AMPC

Jesus said—if you want to enter the Kingdom of heaven you have to do the will of the Father. In other words doing the will of the Father is the condition for heaven.

Doing the will of the Father is to actively be a doer of His Word.

James 1:22 But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth].

Living in the Kingdom right here on the earth, preparing to move in with God when you leave here is living in the kingdom of God now, when we do His Word.Jesus said the Kingdom of God is not here or there but within you.

Luke 17:20 Asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He replied to them by saying, The kingdom of God does not come with signs to be observed or with visible display, 21 Nor will people say, Look! Here [it is]! or, See, [it is] there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you]. AMPC

When you want to live in the Kingdom of God, all you have to do is ask Jesus to come live in your heart.  Him living in you is you living in the Kingdom of God.  Staying in agreement with Jesus —so to live by the principles of the kingdom is the place where you live in the kingdom of God here on the earth.  Living in agreement with the kingdom of God principles— is to learn His way and that is done by taking heed to His voice.

Living in the Kingdom of God is a decision you make when you ask Jesus to come and live on the inside of you.  It is a lifestyle change —not a ticket to heaven. The reason it is a lifestyle change is that kingdom living is different from the way we live without God.

God's way is to love, and His love is a way of living that you are submitting to when you ask to live with Him. When you make this decision —you are surrendering your life to Jesus.  Surrendering as in agreement with Him, no longer self ruled as the world lives—but learning His way which is to love.  As you allow, He will change your heart and with that your life.  You will live a new and victorious life —you won't live defeated anymore!

So you see it is not a quick prayer, it is not a flesh thing, it is not a quick fix to get to heaven, is not a ticket to heaven—but it is an invitation to a relationship to live with the King in His Kingdom.

Jesus who laid down His life for you, who cherishes you so much that He shed His blood for you, took on your sin for you, even before you were born, has made provision for heaven for you is for you —not against you.  All you have to do do is believe in Him (Romans 10:11-13).

Because you and I couldn't do it ourselves (obey the law), Jesus came to accomplish in us.  When you and I believe that, it will change how we live.  The lifestyle change will take place when we believe. That's the difference in a prayer of the flesh, and a prayer of the heart.

Entering into a relationship with Jesus—is entering into the most wonderful life ever, and is possible to live right now —because of Jesus.  Now—as you invite Him to live on the inside of you, the Kingdom of God lives in you and your life will change immediately!

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me. AMPC

All you have to do is invite Him in and heed His voice.  Then He will be with you, never to leave you or forsake you!

Revelation 3:19 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude]. AMPC

He loves you and will convict you and reprove you to keep you on that narrow path that leads to eternity with Him.

Be excited about that discipline because it will lead you to being right with the Father.  Doing His will now so that we can live with Him now —and when we leave here.  That is what we should be busy about doing His will—before He gets here. He should be, needs to be our everything! and He will be once you get to know Him and fall in love with Him.

To know the will of the Father is to know His Word, His Word is His will.  The Word of God is His opinion, what He thinks.  His way of doing life is in His Word.  That means we have to look at the Word.  Faith comes—the revelation knowledge of who God is comes —as we hear the Word of God.

That also means that we have to do that work, the work of hearing the Word, which is feeding your spirit the food it needs to stay strong (Romans 10:17).

Staying strong in the Word, empowers you to do His will, having the facts keeps you strong.  Having understanding makes doing His will easier.  Having your head and your heart in the same place is powerful!

What we read in the Word of God is His will.  The Word is Him, His opinion, what He thinks, thus the Word is His will.

John 1:1 In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.  AMPC

With the Word is His Voice, the Holy Spirit talking to you.  He gives you direction to keep you on the narrow path, which is the path of obedience, and that path leads to eternal life.

John 14:26 But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you. AMPC

He will lead you to do the will of the Father.  Many won't take heed to His voice and walk instead the way that leads to destruction.

Matthew 7:13 Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. AMPC

And all for the satisfaction of the flesh!  Giving into your flesh is always a step away from the will of the Father.  If you look around you, you will see the flesh is common ground and many live by it's dictates.

Matthew 7:14 But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it. AMPC

When you get on that path and you press through the pressure —you are doing the will of the Father.  When your heart is in it, in His will —meaning you want to do His will —you will push through that pressure. The lust of the flesh will be that pressure. Distractions, worry, I feel, and offense —all the lust of the flesh, what the flesh wants —will go against the will of God.  Satan's bait is our flesh and he will use our flesh against us to keep us from doing the Father's will.

Therefore we must train our flesh, keep it under and not live by the dictates of our flesh (how we feel) but led by the Spirit!  If we live by how we feel we won't be able to please God.  Our faith in God —pleases God (Hebrews 11:6).  Not our faith in how we feel, but our faith in God —knowing that He will do what He said He would do. (Read Romans 8 for help understanding the flesh and the Spirit).

Therefore obeying God is living by the Spirit, letting the Holy Spirit teach you and guide you in righteousness.  In the past there was the law in which we couldn't live by.  Now because of Jesus, what He did at the cross, we have His power on the inside of us to do what we couldn't do without Him.

Jesus came in a human body and was tempted as you and I are tempted.  He said —Not My will but Yours Father.  We can do the same when that temptation comes.  Jesus taught us to pray His will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10), therefore we are responsible to ask and then we will be empowered to do His will.

When your flesh tries to overtake you, when the enemy tries to pressure you, you can resist him with the authority you have been given over him  (Luke 10:19).  Now His power, Jesus —lives in you to accomplish His will and when you resist the enemy, the enemy will run (James 4:7).

The bottom line is we have to know His will —and be willing to be corrected to stay in His will.

All I just taught you is partial, some of what I know, good knowledge to have —but, what is imperative —I can't tell you. And that is your part. Your part now is in getting on your knees and asking.  Not my will but Your will Father..  What do I have to do to be right with You — to enter into the Kingdom of heaven?

FAITH FOR ETERNITY WITH JESUS

When Jesus was showing me I was like one of the five virgins I was often worried about if I would make it to heaven.  We know anything God corrects us in, the enemy will try and use it against us.

God's correction is good, so we can get it right.  He doesn't want anyone to perish.  But for a time I was letting the enemy convince me of how bad I was and that I wasn't going to go to heaven.  All I had to do was take the correction and begin to prepare for heaven, but I got stuck in the condemnation.

Revelation 3:19 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude]. AMPC

I decided to just ask God (as I ask Him everything) if I was going to make it to heaven.  Do you know what He said?  He said, “What you believe will happen.”

How hard does the enemy try to convince us of things that are not good?   Like to try and tell me I am not going to make it to heaven—if the enemy can get me to believe that, then that is what is going to happen.

We know God does use what the enemy meant for our harm, for good.  A lot of good came from the enemy trying to convince me that I wasn't going to make it.  Yes, at first it put me in a place of sadness, but then when I finally just asked God—it really motivated me to get ready.

If we are not motivated to be ready for heaven, we really won’t believe we are going to heaven.  Many when I ask —tell me they hope they are going to heaven.  They're not sure and have no idea one has to prepare for heaven to go to heaven.  I didn't know that either which was why God corrected me.  I am constantly asking God to correct me so I am not thinking a lie.

Speaking of lies, many are sitting around with their heads in the clouds, thinking everyone goes to heaven—but that is not true.  Another lie from the enemy.

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. AMPC

The will of the Father is obeying Him and many can't obey Him because they have no idea what He is thinking.  That is why I am always asking for correction—if I don’t I might be thinking a lie.  If I am thinking a lie, I will miss heaven.  If I think I am doing His will and then find out I am not —on that day when I stand before Jesus—it will be too late.

God taught me we have to have faith for heaven just like any other promise in the Word. We have to prepare for heaven to get to heaven.  Just like we prepare for anything else, we have to prepare for heaven.

When we are preparing and actively serving in being a part of His return then we are preparing —then faith action is in place for us to enter into the Kingdom of God (James 2:17).

If we want God to heal us it doesn't just happen, but we have to dig in the Word and find those promises for healing. Then we have to apply the directions we find in the Word to receive those promises.   Moving into the Kingdom of Heaven is the same, we have to dig into the Word, find those promises and then apply the directions given to receive them.

You don't want to gamble with your eternity, find those promises today, apply those directions, so that you don't miss being with God for eternity!

What must you do to have eternal life?  First ask the question, listen for the answer, and then do whatever Jesus tells you to do!

Jesus was setting out on His journey when a man knelt before Him and asked Jesus what he had to do to inherit eternal life?

Mark 10:17 And as He was setting out on His journey, a man ran up and knelt before Him and asked Him, Teacher, [You are essentially and perfectly morally] good, what must I do to inherit eternal life [that is, to partake of eternal salvation in the Messiah’s kingdom]?  18 And Jesus said to him, Why do you call Me [essentially and perfectly morally] good? There is no one [essentially and perfectly]morally] good—except God alone.19 You know the commandments: Do not kill, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness, do not defraud, honor your father and mother.20 And he replied to Him, Teacher, I have carefully guarded and observed all these and taken care not to violate them from my boyhood.21 And Jesus, looking upon him, loved him, and He said to him, You lack one thing; go and sell all you have and give [the money] to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come [and] accompany Me [walking the same road that I walk]. 22 At that saying the man’s countenance fell and was gloomy, and he went away grieved and sorrowing, for he was holding great possessions. AMPC

First —the man already knew He wasn't right with God —and that's a good thing.  I make mention of that because many don't acknowledge that they should question if they are right with Jesus, they only assume.   That stance is one of a distance from God.  If you assume without asking —are you as one of those who assumed they were good with Jesus?

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? 23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. AMPC

If we already know that we are not right with Jesus then it is because we are following Him and are seeking correction.  If we know we are not perfect —like Him, it is because we know as many admit, we haven't arrived.

Although the man wanted to be right with Jesus, he let his flesh get in the way.  He was tender toward the Lord —as many of us are, but when he heard Jesus tell him his stuff was in the way, and he had a call on his life —he hardened his heart and walked away.

We know he was tender toward the Lord —he said that.  He said all his life he followed the law.  What he was saying is (he thought) he was good and being good was the key to eternal life.

Many tell me they have a good heart, and that makes them good —ready for heaven.  Being good then is their thinking that allows them eternal life.  But, Jesus didn't say that.  In fact Jesus said no one is good except the Father (Mark 10:18).

Oftentimes we think we are right with God as did this man.  Although he asked, he knew deep down something was wrong, I think at the same time he was hoping Jesus would recognize him as being a —good person.  I don't think he expected Jesus to say —give your stuff away and follow Me.   Although I am sure he did know about his stuff, he didn't expect that it was such a big problem (as we think) that he should give it all away.

Many times we know deep down something is not right, but it just seems easier to say —God understands, it's not that bad, I'm good.  He knows —I have a good heart.  I think I am a good person, I am sure I am fine.

Check out your status with Jesus.  Don't assume you are a good Christian — a good person and that will suffice.  Don't reject that deep knowing that something is not quite right. Then, don't let it stop you from checking in with Jesus.  Lastly, when He tells you what is not right, don't harden your heart.  Don't give up eternal life for a piece of cake, if that be your god.

Sometimes we are offended at God and don't even realize it.  Being offended at God is something that happens when we start looking at what is— meditating the enemies lies.

When we are meditating on the devils lies we are leaving our faith and entering into offense.

Meditating the devil's lies leaves us offended at God —offended at God is blaming God.

Recognizing that we are listening to the enemy is a revelation we have to have.  Whenever you feel out of sorts, or crabby — it is due to what you are thinking.

The enemy's power is in our thinking (2 Corinthians 10:3-4).

When we find ourselves in this state we should immediately examine ourselves —by quickly discerning our thoughts (2 Corinthians 10:5).

Are youI thinking about —poor me and what is? Are you thinking God should have done something by now?

If that is you today, you have been enticed by the enemy to feel sorry for yourself and to be offended at God.  His motive is to steal God from you by getting you off the path just like Jesus warned us in Mark 4:15. Jesus said as soon as you hear the Word Satan would come and try to steal the Word (God from you).

The power the enemy has over us is in our thinking which is why we have to be on top of getting our faith —by keeping our mind on God and who God is.  We do that by hearing the Word of God so we can stay in faith, so we can think the truth and not the lie. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

Just like Jesus said —the enemy is trying to steal God from us, so what better way than to get us offended at God by telling lies about God (Mark 4:17).

What you should do if you are here—quickly change your thoughts.

2 Corinthians 10:5  [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One), AMPC

Then take the time to apologize to God.  I hear many say God can handle it, He gets it.  Yes He can but does that make it right that we should blame Him for our mistakes?  Our mistakes, due to our lack of persistence in knowing Him, and growing up in Him?

When your kids are little yes you let them get away with some things because they don't know any better, but as they grow up we expect more from them.

We are always trying to make ourselves feel better, but should we be?  Maybe if we stayed uncomfortable with ourselves and grew up and took responsibility for our actions, we could be faithful to God.

How uncomfortable do you think it has been for God?  Have you wondered how He felt when you falsely accused Him? Do you know that He is Person with feelings? Do you think history keeps repeating itself?  Can we love God, as He loves us? Can we stop falsely accusing Him? We can by believing Him no matter how it looks or how it feels and just get to know Him better.

UPDATE JESUS—TIME TO UPDATE

Even though God does not change —He is always the same, we unlike Him, change. We waiver in our faith which is why we need to update everyday!  We don't attain the Word without the Word, we were created to be connected to the vine (John 15:1-8).

If you have a computer and it starts acting funny, —like inconsistent, or sickly, the first thing you should do is check to see if you missed an update and then restart the computer.

Here is the function of a computer update I found on the web.

—Updates contain important changes to improve the performance, stability and security of the applications that run on your computer. Installing them ensures that your software continues to run safely and efficiently. Keep in mind that many web exploits look for outdated software with unpatched security flaws.

I got so excited when I read this because it is exactly what I knew God was saying.  Just like He is saying in James —when we don't update, we change to low performance, we lack stability and fail to apply the truth to our lives —because we didn't use the application of updating our minds with the Word of God.

We start acting funny and even sickly when we don't update.

In conclusion then without that exercise of doing those updates —we can't receive anything from the Lord.

James 1:5 If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him. 6 Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. 7 For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord, 8 [For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides]. AMPC

I know many would say to me, I can't help it, this is how God made me —I just don't have much faith.  No He did not, He made you with the ability to draw on His strength (Philippians 4:13), but it is up to you to draw from Him the thing you need to overcome.

God has given us all the same measure of faith (Romans 12:3) Faith comes by hearing the Word (Romans 10:17) thus there is no excuse for any of us to say we do not have faith.

If we have committed to a relationship with Jesus, that relationship needs our time and attention, us having time to be with Him—to talk with Him.  Just like any other relationship Jesus needs our time so we can be close.

Our part is to update so we don't hit that low performance mark (wavering faith).

Do you go to God and get wisdom?  If you do you will get that wisdom you need —that update you need to change your thinking to as His.  As well —He is going to continuously give you more wisdom where your updates will be automatic —as you consistently sit with Him.

But if you waiver and or hesitate, not being sure if you want this God  life, then you won't receive anything from Him. Why? Because you are not serious about your relationship with Him. If you are not serious you are not going to make that effort to hear the Word consistently—to update your thinking (make your thinking like His) to a place of no hesitating.

If you choose Jesus and you update—plug in daily you will win against everything Satan tries you with.  You will have the present, most up to date personal information designed for you, your certain circumstance updated into your hard drive (mind) so that you can continue to function in faith. Updating will keep you from wavering, wavering comes from not updating.

Not deciding what you are going to do comes from listening to the enemy, getting his virus and then listening, meditating his lie—unplugging from God.  Then going back and forth trying to decide which you will do.

Remember that definition of an update on your computer?

—Keep in mind that many web exploits look for outdated software with unpatched security flaws.—

If your software is outdated —you will miss it.  If you are not updating —Satan will take advantage of (your outdated software) your weak state.

Being double minded you won't receive anything from God, you have to clearly choose Him and when you do He expects that you are faithful to Him by updating; staying close to Him so you can hear Him. Meeting with Him everyday will enable Him to pass His thoughts through to your thoughts, the most complete update ever! You will know what you need to know for that day.
