Many are oblivious to what is happening with God! They have no contact with Him which means they have no idea what He is thinking, or when the storm is coming.

The storm is about to begin and you can already see the effects of it, if you are watching and praying!

Matthew 24:37 As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For just as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, [men] marrying and [women] being given in marriage, until the [very] day when Noah went into the ark, 39 And they did not know or understand until the flood came and swept them all away—so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 40 At that time two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the hand mill; one will be taken and one will be left. 42 Watch therefore [give strict attention, be cautious and active], for you do not know in what kind of a day  [whether a near or remote one] your Lord is coming.

It's so obscure to me to hear many say they have no idea that Jesus is about to show up. Their lack of revelation knowledge tells me that they are not building their house on the Word like Jesus instructed. That also tells me that when that storm hits, their life will end in the storm. Devastation will be rampant! At the sound of that trumpet —when Jesus comes as a Lion. When those four angels on the four corners of the earth let go of that wind —it will be devastation! For those who haven't taken the time to build their house on Jesus’ Words, it will be indescribably horrible!

Matthew 7:24 So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts upon them [obeying them] will be like a sensible (prudent, practical, wise) man who built his house upon the rock. 25 And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them will be like a stupid (foolish) man who built his house upon the sand.27 And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell—and great and complete was the fall of it. AMPC

For those it won’t be a glorious day. For them, the storm will take them into the outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Please watch and pray then you will know, then you will hear things to come. You will hear the Holy Spirit directing you, then you can start your Ark! —Before it's too late!

Right now even though you may not have any idea what is happening, you are being tested; Jesus is dividing the sheep from the goats. He is preparing for His return and in that He has to separate those who will obey Him from those who will not.

On that day when you stand before Him, whenever that is, you will be judged according to your obedience. That is why Jesus said not everyone will enter into the Kingdom of heaven. Because not everyone will obey Him. Unlike popular belief —not everyone goes to heaven. Not everyone who says that prayer goes to heaven, but those who do the will of the Father. Jesus said those who regard His commands will enter into the Kingdom of heaven.

He didn't say those who said that prayer that day. He didn't say that. He said if you love Me you will obey Me (John 14:21). He said if you believe in Me you will have eternal life (John 3:16). If you believe in Him then you love Him and you will obey Him. He will matter to you if you love Him and if He matters to you, so will His wishes.

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? 23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. AMPC

Make sure you are not ignoring Him but be attentive to Him now. Know His Word Now so on that day He will recognize you as His, so that your name will be recorded in the Book Of Life—not blotted out!

Revelation 3:5 Thus shall he who conquers (is victorious) be clad in white garments, and I will not erase or blot out his name from the Book of Life; I will acknowledge him [as Mine] and I will confess his name openly before My Father and before His angels. AMPC

Overcome! Resist sin it is not worth going to hell for!

If you think you are ready for Jesus to say to you on that day well done thy good and faithful servant, see if this is you. If you are one who thinks he is ready, I am sure you will change your mind when you read this.

Philippians 2:1 Fill up and complete my joy by living in harmony and being of the same mind and one in purpose, having the same love, being in full accord and of one harmonious mind and intention. 3 Do nothing from factional motives [through contentiousness, strife, selfishness, or for unworthy ends] or prompted by conceit and empty arrogance. Instead, in the true spirit of humility (lowliness of mind) let each regard the others as better than and superior to himself [thinking more highly of one another than you do of yourselves].4 Let each of you esteem and look upon and be concerned for not [merely] his own interests, but also each for the interests of others.

How many of us put the other person's interests (needs) before our own? At first you may think you do, but give it some further thought. Scenario —if there is a homeless person on the street what would your reaction be according to this Word? If you would regard that person as better than yourself then what would be the thing to do? Unless you would treat that person better than you treat yourself—you haven't arrived. Now ask yourself if you think you have arrived (are you ready for Jesus to judge you) at the place that when Jesus comes He won't say away from Me, I never knew you?

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? 23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. AMPC

God wants you to know the things going on in our nation and throughout the world right now are a ploy—a distraction from the enemy to keep your eyes off of Jesus.

The enemy’s ploy is that you would get so involved in what is going on — that you miss Jesus. Jesus is about to return and many cannot see that He is because they are not paying attention to Him.

Jesus said —if we don’t watch and pray His return will be like a thief in the night, meaning we won't be expecting Him. If we are not expecting Him, we won't be ready.

—Matthew 24:37 As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.38 For just as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, [men] marrying and [women] being given in marriage, until the [very] day when Noah went into the ark,39 And they did not know or understand until the flood came and swept them all away—so will be the coming of the Son of Man. AMPC

Jesus said to watch and pray—praying is simply talking with Jesus. If you don't have time to talk to Jesus you won't know what is going on with Him. You won't know the season you are in and you won't know to be on your knees asking Him what you need to do to be ready.

Most think they are ready for heaven and it will be a whiz, but Jesus said many who call Him Lord will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who do the will of the Father.

AMPC

What Jesus is saying is you might think you’re going to heaven, you might even call Him Lord and do good works for Him, but, if you don’t do the will of the Father (obey Him) He will tell you He didn’t know you. Why? Because you and He are not in agreement if you don't obey Him. If you are not in agreement with Him you don't know Him, nor does He pay attention to you (Matthew 7:21-23).

If you are not watching and praying, that alone excludes you from doing His will. If you haven't heard Him tell you things to come (John 16:13) you’re in trouble! If you don’t obey Him, all of His Word —you are not doing His will.

If you are talking to Jesus, you will know you have a part in preparing for His return. As well, you will know your assignment and that your assignment is vital —and part of doing His will. Thus, if you don't know and you are not doing your assignment —you are not watching and praying (you are not talking to Jesus or doing His will).

The season we are in is one we need to give Jesus our full attention, know Him and do the Father’s will. Submit to Him and resist the enemy (James 4:7). Resist the distractions set up as a trap for us (Mark 4:10-19).

—No we don't know the very day or the hour, but we should know the season (Matthew 24:33)!

—1 Thessalonians 5:3 But you are not in [given up to the power of] darkness, brethren, for that day to overtake you by surprise like a thief. 5 For you are all sons of light and sons of the day; we do not belong either to the night or to darkness. 6 Accordingly then, let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake (alert, watchful, cautious, and on our guard) and let us be sober (calm, collected, and circumspect). AMPC

Don’t assume you are good —ask Him! Then when Jesus tells you what you need to do to be ready, ask Him to help you to do it. You can’t do anything without Him (John 15:5)!

—God has given me this assignment to help Him prepare for His return. Take Him seriously, it is not His plan that you should perish!

—I believe in you <3

THE MAN IN THE RED FLANNEL SHIRT

—One evening I was out doing errands when I heard God impress upon me to get gas. I didn’t know it then, but it was apparent later that I had an appointment with a homeless man.

I noticed the man right away because he was digging through the garbage cans. I thought I would give him some money but as soon as he noticed me, he started to have a temper tantrum. In his rage he kicked the garbage can a few times and then threw the cover as far as he could. It was as though he was putting on this outrageous fit just for me.

As he glared at me, it seemed his intention was to scare me. I assume it probably helped that I was there to have someone to release his anger toward. I sensed his thoughts were something like —why am I homeless and you're not? Why am I going through this and you're not? I hate my life, why do you have a car and I don't?

I could hear my excuses all the way home. It was about me, not him, not Jesus, but me. This man wasn’t sweet enough for me, he shouldn't have acted that way. He shouldn't have freaked me out, then I could have helped him.

The next morning while sitting with Jesus, He confronted me. He said I was selfish and I should have helped that man. I had ministered in situations similar to this one before, I know I don't have to be afraid.

Jesus suggested, what if that were me and I was homeless? I might not be so sweet either. As I pondered that idea I thought wait, no, I would be because I have faith. Exactly Jesus’ point, the man didn't have faith. He needed Jesus and I had Jesus to give, but I kept Jesus to myself. I didn't share Jesus because I didn't think of it.

HOW GOD FEELS

Then God said, ”That's why you can't see Me. If you could see Me you would judge Me. That man is Me, My son, part of Me. What if that was Me on the street corner holding a sign? What if I was wearing an old red flannel shirt with holes in it? What if I was dirty, didn't comb My hair or shave, and what if I was angry? —You would judge Me. What's more, what if I didn't want money, what if I was lonely and just wanted someone to talk to? Would you give Me the time of day?” He didn’t wait for me to answer but continued, “What if some days I was just wanting to hang out in some comfy clothes and have a hot chocolate with you? What if I wanted to cry over how that man on the corner was Judged? What if I wanted to share My heart, My pain, and My tears with you? Would you even have time?”

I heard what He was saying to me, I just wanted to give this man some money to quiet him and ease my conscience. Money wasn’t the only thing this man needed, he needed Jesus, but I didn't think of giving Him Jesus. As well, I didn't have time to spend time with him and he was too dirty and angry to invite him into my car. If those weren't my convenient excuses (obstacles), I could have ministered to that man.

God’s love and compassion for this man caused Him to need a disciple. God needed me to minister to this man and I certainly could have handled the assignment given to me if I loved God properly. If it wasn't about me and it was about God, if I truly cared for God I would have been more concerned with His child out on the street, than myself.

God’s intention wasn’t to condemn me but to show me who He is and who I am. I needed to mature in loving God with all my heart, soul, and mind which means if I love Him I will care about what He cares about, and of course, He cares for that man on the street.

I already knew before I sat with Jesus the next morning that I missed it. But to hear Him tell me what He thinks, and how He feels, that He thinks of Himself as that man— was pretty mind-blowing! He left an imprint in my heart and I will never look at another person again without seeing Him.

He has definitely changed my life by showing me His emotions. Knowing how He feels and letting me feel His feelings has caused me to become emotionally involved with Him. His life is now my life and so if this man is that important to God, then he is me. If any person matters that much to God, they now matter that much to me.

Looking back to that day I can see God had started to pull on my heart then already. When you love someone and they hurt, you hurt. That’s what was happening, He hurt and as He hurt and let me feel His hurt, that caused me to hurt. He was causing me to fall deeper in love with Him by letting me feel how He felt —

—This is an excerpt from Lee’s new book THE MAN IN THE RED FLANNEL SHIRT coming soon—

I MET JESUS

I don't know how He did it but suddenly I was there. There I was standing next to this enormous door that led to the Kingdom. I was feeling like a princess as I was so sophistically invited in. My name was being noted in the Book Of Life as I am escorted into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Enchanted by the blue fog, the giggling and chatter echoing throughout heaven, I felt as though I was in a fairytale. With the exception of here and there where I could only see a blue form of a person —I could only hear those around me.

The playful lighthearted atmosphere full of sounds of happiness, made those I could hear sound like children. The chattering and giggling that echoed throughout heaven made me feel like I belonged. The happiness in the air was because of how Jesus rescued us from the disaster on the earth. I was so excited to be there and never wanted it to end. It indeed felt like a fairytale and I was a princess pretending to get ready for a ball.

As we walked further, I noticed the dresses for the bride —they were beautiful! They were flowing as they hung from what seemed like the sky. They were extremely long and perfected. I could see the dress that was mine, unlike everything else it was white.

The excitement continues as we are on our way for the preparation of the wedding to marry Jesus. The excitement is Jesus, He is our Hero! We are all in love with Jesus!  Jesus is being worshiped and adored so beautifully as our voices echoed throughout heaven! It was intense, yet magical.

It abruptly ended when I woke up in my bed. I was so disappointed, I wanted to stay there. Without hesitation, I ran to get my computer, jumped back in bed, and typed everything that just happened. I wanted to have every second. I laid back down because I thought it was a dream. I begged for more but nothing happened. I then got up anxious to get my coffee and talk with Jesus.

When I walked into my office, Jesus asked me to sit at the end of my desk with Him rather than the middle. As soon as I sat down I was in heaven again. I have no idea how He did that, but there I was in heaven at the banquet table looking at Jesus. This was not a dream! I couldn't believe it, I was looking straight across the banquet table at Jesus! He’s smiling at me, He is beautiful! His eyes and His soft look, I’m mesmerized!

It is so apparent how He looks at me that He loves me! It’s like His love so elegantly just wrapped me in His arms. I don't know how He did that. No one has ever looked at me that way before with such love. For a moment, I could see the look of unbelief on my face. Of course, I couldn't believe this was happening! I couldn’t stop looking at Jesus and it seemed He couldn't stop looking at me.

He was making me feel like I was the most beautiful person He has ever seen. It seems like the more He looks at me, the more beautiful I become. I feel special to Him, I don't even feel like me anymore. It was as if He drew the real me out from within me somehow. I am not the me I am without Him, but the person He sees me as.

His love for me is genuine. No matter what I have done or how imperfect I am, He thinks well of me. His love makes me cry, it can’t be helped. I’m crying just remembering.

He started talking to me, but not with His mouth. I could hear Him think. He acknowledged what I went through to get there.

There are others there I didn't take notice of until He looked away from me. He was loving them the same way He was me, and like me they were mesmerized by Him. Jesus encouraged us in our assignments and recognized us for our perseverance. He said that when we returned we would reminisce of our adventures and all that we endured to overcome. He said what we endured to be with Him would be recorded in the Book Of Life!

He looked at me again and as he did, I thought of the dress, or maybe He reminded me of it. I was thinking about how beautiful it was and wondered about it and how it looked on me. Then of course as I was thinking that, He showed me. I could see myself in my dress —I felt so beautiful and like a princess! Jesus showed me the neckline of the dress. I could see my face and my hair, my hair was up. I felt beautiful—He made me feel beautiful!

I had to stop just now to look away and cry. At first glance, I noticed the word Cinderella I had written on a piece of paper. Yes, I felt like Cinderella finally appreciated for who I am. I am Cinderella and I am going to marry Jesus!   Revelation knowledge is apparent right now as I discover that is exactly what He is doing in this moment—Healing me from the world's judgment.

This is a Cinderella story and I didn't even realize it! Never loved, not like I am being loved at this moment. I can't think of Cinderella without thinking of my little sister, she too is a Cinderella and is already with Jesus.

This is a real Cinderella story and Jesus wants to rescue you from the disaster you live in. Until you meet Jesus you will never experience real love. You won’t be loved fully until you are with Jesus. No one can love you as He can. You won't be appreciated for who you are until you are with Him. You won’t even see the real you until you meet Him face to face. It is magical, it’s healing, and way more than I can explain to you.

I don't know at what moment I left, but as suddenly as I left I was back. I was stunned to be sitting at my desk in the same chair I barely remember sitting in before I left. I’m in awe, with an imprint of Jesus in my mind that will never leave me. I now have that vivid place where I can always return to, to reminisce with Jesus. I love that. He changed me and I will never be the same.

This is an insert from my upcoming book. —WHAT TO WEAR TO MEET JESUS

Yesterday I left my place of peace where I sit every morning with Jesus. It seemed okay until this morning when I went to sit with Him, I felt icky, like really terrible. Then I heard Jesus say He was disappointed that I left Him and He felt betrayed. I already knew something was wrong, but when He said that my heart sunk.

We have an unsaid appointment every morning for all morning. One He has never broken, but I have. I haven't been unfaithful for a long, long time but, I have always been the unfaithful one in our relationship. He never has been unfaithful to me, never. Of course I repented and He forgave me. I realized all the things He had done for me that for those few moments were gone. I felt empty and without peace, and even anxious. All those things I took for granted that Jesus does for me everyday, all the time —for those few minutes, gone. I never want to feel that again, never. It was terrible to be without Him even for those few moments.

God uses everything for good of course and so in that time I had without Him He reminded me where many live all the time, always without Jesus. I couldn't do that, I could barely do it for those few minutes I did this morning. In this happening, God reminded me of the lost and how they have no idea what they are missing. Without having Jesus in their lives they don't have the peace and joy we have everyday. They don’t have that contentment we need, we have from Jesus in the midst of whatever is going on. Only Jesus can do what Jesus does. No man, no thing, no event or vacation, nothing; can even touch the fulfillment we get from sitting with Jesus.

For a few seconds I thought of hell and how terrible hell would be —to feel that torture I felt without Jesus for the few minutes I did, but forever. Jesus is so good and if you have that constant self doubt, that discontentment and no peace —then you have to meet my Jesus.  He will take away the torture you go through without His presence in your life. To be in that place where you are always looking for something to suffice and it does for a little while, then you have to suffer again looking for that which you will never find without Jesus.

You need Jesus, you need Him to fill you with His presence. You don't need anything or anyone else —ever to be okay. You can't be okay without Jesus ever! You might think so for a while, but then in the midst of your trying to do life without Him you will realize your still missing something!

Go to Him and be faithful to Him because that is when He remains with you, when you love Him. When you love Him and remain in Him, He lives in you.

John 14:21 Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him. AMPC

When you plug in your phone to the phone charger it charges, you can’t charge it any other way. You can’t live without plugging into Jesus everyday, not life to the full and life overflowing —you can't.

John 10:10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).  AMPC

Many think it's the stuff but stuff only wears out and wears you out. Jesus will build you up and make you strong. Only Jesus can give you life to the full. The stuff is meant to kill, steal, and destroy you. Choose Jesus not the temptations that lead to eternal damnation. If you think your life now is bad, hell is worse, don't go there.

If you never asked, ask Jesus to come and live in you. All it takes is to answer that knock at the door of your heart and then heed His voice. He is already there —answer Him with your knee bent —submit to Him. There is no other way, no one else for you but Jesus!

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me. AMPC

Jesus said If you abide (follow) in Him, then you can have what you have asked as representing Him. In other words, follow Him and then you can expect to receive from Him and as well be a fine representative of His.

John 15:7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. John 15:8 When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine. AMPC

Although Jesus said this, many still expect that Jesus will give them favor even though they don’t follow Him. In fact, they ignore what Jesus said instead of being in agreement with Him. If you ignore what Jesus said you don’t even live in the Kingdom of God, you actually live in another kingdom and you follow some other way. Only you can make that choice. Know as well then, that the way you follow is your source —and Jesus is not.

You can pretend you love Him and keep calling on Him, but He doesn't even consider you a friend if you don't follow Him.

John 15:14 You are My friends if you keep on doing the things which I command you to do. AMPC

Only when we keep doing what He said, are we His friend and of His Kingdom. Being His friend you will get updates and then be able to stay agreement with Him and have what you ask of Him. Doing Jesus’ will then is the condition of being His friend and receiving from Him.

That same concept correlates to having eternal life with Jesus. If when you stand before Him to be judged, you didn’t follow Him here, you won’t be leaving with Him for eternity there. He said many will say what they did for Him but the thing that was expected of them, they didn't do. They didn't do what was expected because they were not following Him. They were not getting updates from Jesus, therefore they will be confused and even surprised on that day when Jesus will have to say, I didn't know you, we weren't friends.

AMPC

As you know, having had someone ignore you is quite irritating especially if you love that person. Don’t think Jesus isn’t irritated with you if you keep asking but haven't followed Him. Why is He frustrated? Because He wants to do for you. He wants you to represent Him and He wants you to live with Him for eternity, but, that can’t happen if you ignore Him. If you ignore Him then you are not His friend and it hurts Him. It hurts Him that He has to say He didn't know you.

It’s not too late to make it real with Jesus and be a true follower.

John 15:8 When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine. AMPC

Living in the Kingdom definitely is a different life than living like everyone else lives. It is challenging and the reason it is, is the enemy. As soon as we decide to live God’s way, he comes against us to try and stop us because the rewards of living God’s way are tremendous!

James 1:9 Let the brother in humble circumstances glory in his elevation [as a Christian, called to the true riches and to be an heir of God] AMPC

At first, God’s way may seem like a less than life but that is because of the transition you're making. The transition is difficult to begin, but once you start to taste that good life ahead, it gets easier.

The transition from your old life to the new is selling all your stuff and getting new. That is exactly what is happening when you begin to rely on God you stop relying on you. You opt out of the old life and link into the new. It is a transition of learning a whole new way to live; coming out from the world's way and now living God’s way.

Jesus referenced this new life as the narrow path because the transition has some pressure on it. That pressure is the thoughts the enemy tries to constrict you with. What if this doesn't work, what if I made the wrong choice and God doesn't do what I thought He said He would? That is where most turn off the narrow path. But if they would stay on it in faith, that path would lead them in the right direction —to eternal life.

Matthew 7:13 Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. 14 But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it. AMPC

Satan is trying to keep us on the wide path because that is his path, his deceptive path that leads to destruction.

The reason he makes it seem so hard, is because he uses the crowd to persecute you. Everyone has an opinion and they like to give it to you. They think you should be doing life like they do life. That is why the disciples denied Jesus, they were afraid of the crowd.

Are you going to ignore Jesus because of what someone might say or think of you? Or are you going to acknowledge Jesus on that narrow path? Are you going to do His will or are you going to ignore what He said to do?

The thing the enemy does not want you to know is how very blessed you will be when you stay on that path. Getting on the narrow path may have some persecutions on it, but it has blessings as well.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship),  in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. AMPC

There is definitely some persecution on that path but when we press through, it will all be worth it to be that overcomer we need to be. If you want to live with Jesus forever you have to learn to depend on Him, He is the highest way to live. It may not seem so now, but know that now is temporary. It may not seem the most popular thing to do since you can’t see anything happening, but know this—that what you see with your eyes is temporary, and what you can't see (your faith) is eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. AMPC

You don't want to live temporarily, but for eternity. The only way that is possible is to stay on the narrow path. When you live life on the narrow path you will get to know Jesus and then on that day, He won't say He didn't know you. But He will acknowledge you as you did Him!

Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to be My disciple, let him deny himself [disregard, lose sight of, and forget himself and his own interests] and take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying, also].25 For whoever is bent on saving his [temporal] life [his comfort and security here] shall lose it [eternal life]; and whoever loses his life [his comfort and security here] for My sake shall find it [life everlasting]. AMPC

Stuff is a barrier between us and Jesus; it severs our relationship. If we have things constantly on our minds then Jesus won't fit into our lifestyle. If I have learned anything the past few months from Jesus —it’s that things can occupy, even control our lives and replace Jesus. Of course if we replace Jesus with things, He is not our Lord those things are.

When things are out of order in our lives is when things have too much importance. Those things of importance then actually rob us of the presence of Jesus. If we haven't His presence in our lives it is because we have minimized His space.

Our relationship with Jesus is in our hearts. Jesus said that — He said the Kingdom of God is within you. That said, to keep Him within you, you have to allow Him His space. If instead of Jesus, if you are fully occupied with other things you have replaced Jesus with those things.

Even if you said that prayer you thought would get you to heaven, having things instead of Jesus nullifies that prayer. The prayer is a commitment to a relationship with Jesus. Like an engagement, you engage in each other's lives. That means you hang out together and hanging out takes time —thus you have to have time for Jesus.

If you haven't a relationship with Jesus because your relationship is with —for example food. Food will constantly be dancing around in your mind and you will be spending your time with food. If it is buying things —the same thing, those things you want to buy will occupy your mind as well as your time —leaving no room for Jesus.

For some it is just being busy because they think being busy is an answer to their problems. Really though it is a mind exercise for them to keep occupied enough so that they don't have to deal with their problems. But, if one would sit back and occupy that mind space with Jesus they could not only have healthy thinking but those problems avoided —solved.

The enemy would rather have you too busy to resource Jesus because he is out to kill, steal, and destroy in your life which includes taking your eternity with Jesus from you. The enemy works to convince you that your comfort is in things, food, and business —anything but Jesus.

Although Jesus said to go to Him for comfort many resort to getting comfort from other sources clearly making those sources not Jesus their lord.

Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] AMPC

If you don't have an honest relationship with Jesus, if He doesn't fit into your environment of too much business of whatever that is—then you have to wonder why would you move into His environment after really —avoidant of Him now?  Right?  If while you are here you are about this, that, and the other thing, then how and why would that suddenly change when Jesus comes?  Like He said to the five foolish virgins I am not acquainted with you.

If you get your comfort from food, business, money or anything else then, Jesus is not really your Lord.  You might think so, and say so but if Jesus is not occupying your heart, then like He said you are just pretending.  Then on that day, playing house will be over and your life of a lie you were living will end as well.

As Jesus said to Peter, we need to tell Satan to get behind us, I am not putting things before Jesus. If that is your attitude Jesus will help you to get your house in order. He will occupy your house if you let Him, and then on that day, things won't be what He finds in your house.

Matthew 12:43 But when the unclean spirit has gone out of a man, it roams through dry [arid] places in search of rest, but it does not find any. 44 Then it says, I will go back to my house from which I came out. And when it arrives, it finds the place unoccupied, swept, put in order, and decorated. 45 Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and make their home there. And the last condition of that man becomes worse than the first. So also shall it be with this wicked generation.

Things are a spiritual problem as you can plainly see.  Jesus is teaching us when something/someone other than Himself occupies our house, His temple (us) then He can’t

Fix it by allowing Jesus back in and spending your time with Him. It isn't hard, just like you got addicted to that other thing you can get addicted to Jesus. Give Him that attention you were giving that thing and I guarantee you, you will be addicted to Jesus! A much better addiction that will bring health and prosperity to you. Besides eternal life!

3 John 2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers. AMPC

MATTHEW 6:34 So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.

Jesus is giving us the key to receiving from God, and that is not to worry. Doesn't that make sense? If we worry we are not in faith. If we don't have faith we cannot please God (Hebrews 11:6). The reason we cannot please God if we don't have faith is, because God does not work outside of faith (Hebrews 11:1). We have to have faith in Him to receive from Him. That means when we worry we stop God from being able to work in our lives.

God once spoke to me and said faith is your slave (Luke 17:7-10). That means your faith is the thing you need to change things, not worry. Worry will bring the worried result and faith will bring the faith result (Proverbs 23:7). So have faith in God that He will do what He said He would do (Mark 11:22).

Jesus said that His way of doing is to trust that the Father knows what you have need of and He as He feeds the birds will feed you and I (Matthew 6: 25-33).

Each time I read that I get this picture in my mind of these cute little birds that are flying back and forth with tiny little briefcases. Isn't that a silly picture? It is and I think that is how God sees us. I can see Him shake His head back and forth as He watches us run here and there and back and forth —and now not only with our briefcases but with masks on. As He watches us do for ourselves without Him, it isn't too cute—but He is frustrated with us. How do I know? He told me. The plan isn't as we live, our lower way is not the plan.

Jesus said if we didn't worry we could live the importance of life. Therefore if we would just let Him do for us, we could be doing much more important things. Like what you may ask? Like His work, loving, laying hands on the sick, casting out demons and such. Well, first we would have to learn those things, but at least we would have time to.

But —we are too worried just like the heathen of our needs. Like them, we don't have time to let God have His way in our lives because we have to do what He said He would do. We are just like the heathen, but we are kidding ourselves by calling ourselves Christians.

Matthew 6:34 “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. MSG

— John 14:2 In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you AMPC

Shortly after going to heaven with Jesus I heard Him say this to me  —I am preparing a place for you.  I don't know how I let that slip but I did. I didn't hear Him until the next time He said it, that is how faithful He is.  If you don't hear Him, He will tell you again. When I noticed He was trying to tell me something I said, “Jesus, You’re talking to me. What are you saying, why are You saying that to me?” I mean that is a pretty intense statement, does this mean I get to go back?  Then He brought to my remembrance the disciples, He said that to them.

John 14 Do not let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me. 2 In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you.3 And when (if) I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also. AMPC

I felt reassured again that I made it. I will be going to heaven to live with Him.  Another confirmation that He is coming and that meanwhile, I should know that He is getting a place ready for me. Now I am really feeling like royalty.  First He takes me to heaven and now He is telling me He has a place for me.  On top of that, to hear Him say to me the same thing He said to the disciples —I mean I feel special!

He reminded me that He watches to perform His Word (Jeremiah 1:12). That is the way He is, He does what He said He would do. He said He would remind us of the things He said. What He said to the disciples He repeated to me.  He was reminding me as one of His disciples, He is getting a place ready for me.

Jesus reminded me He has been busy visiting countless others to remind them as well not to worry, and that He is coming to rescue them.  Jesus is warning those who are not ready to get ready and He is giving them knowledge of why they are not ready: what they need to do to get ready.

The Holy Spirit is telling us who are listening —things to come.  If you are paying attention you will hear Him tell you Jesus is here ready to open that door (Matthew 24:33).

John 16:13 But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]. AMPC

If Jesus hasn't personally told you He is coming to get you and not to worry—if I were you I would be worried.  Jesus has been going around correcting and reassuring; you have to at least hear one or the other. If you don't have ears to hear, if you won't listen —He won't bother you. Many have nonchalantly told me they are ready and they're not. They haven't talked to Jesus to find out— but still they think they are ready. Hell is real and if you are not ready for heaven, then hell is your destination. If you haven't heard Jesus, get on your knees and start asking, don't assume your eternity will be with Jesus, ask!

If you don't book a room, there won't be a room for you.

God has something to say about who we follow. He in fact is jealous that we follow others and go to others even for their opinion rather than to Him. The reason for His jealousy is, He is in love with you and He knows if you are not following Him you are going to miss heaven.

Jesus said there are not many who will enter into the Kingdom of heaven, only those who will obey Him. Who do you know that follows Him that completely? If you look around in what should be your reference Book, you will find there are few that will enter into the Kingdom of heaven. There are though many on that wide path that leads to destruction.

Matthew 7:3 Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. 14 But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it. AMPC

Just think if you are doing what everyone else is doing on the earth, you will end up in hell. The world has made so many compromises from the Word of God. God said what was right and we changed it to fit how we feel. How crazy is that? Just supposing you could change His commands when you get to heaven like you do here, how do you think that would work? What would make His holy residence any different than our compromised world? What would be the difference in heaven and hell?

Living now then in compromise will take you to the place of total compromise (hell).

Follow Jesus, follow Him wherever He goes. Then you will wear His name, then you will live with Him. Nothing less, nothing more, just follow Him and you will be sure to get to heaven.

It is not hard just change who you follow!

Revelation 14 Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb stood on Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000 [men] who had His name and His Father’s name inscribed on their foreheads.2 And I heard a voice from heaven like the sound of great waters and like the rumbling of mighty thunder; the voice I heard [seemed like the music] of harpists accompanying themselves on their harps.3 And they sang a new song before the throne [of God] and before the four living creatures and before the elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin]. No one could learn [to sing] that song except the 144,000 who had been ransomed (purchased, redeemed) from the earth.4 These are they who have not defiled themselves by relations with women, for they are [pure as] virgins. These are they who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These are they who have been ransomed (purchased, redeemed) from among men as the first-fruits for God and the Lamb. AMPC

In my mission to tell that Jesus is coming and we are not ready, many pridefully say —I’m good, I am ready, I am a Christian. I can see why God hates pride. You can’t tell a prideful person anything, thus they may perish because they won’t hear. That is so sad, but many will perish because they are too prideful to hear what Jesus would say to them.

Jesus wants us to know that we are constantly breaking His law but we have become so numb to it we don’t realize it. He is trying to warn us, but again if we are too prideful to listen there isn't anything He can do.

One other misconception is that we can break one law and still be okay, which is incorrect.

JAMES 2:10 For whosoever keeps the Law [as a] whole but stumbles and offends in one [single instance] has become guilty of [breaking] all of it. AMPC

In order to live with Jesus, we have to obey all the law not some of it.  Wouldn't it be strange if He let murders in heaven, but not liars?  We are so foolish in our thinking and that foolish thinking will make us like one of the five foolish virgins.  They didn't make it because they compromised (Matthew 25:1-13). You and I as well won't make it if we compromise. If we break one law we are guilty of breaking all the law and we won't be able to live with Jesus.

So what is the law? The written Word of God. We are to make the Word of God our standard and be careful to live by it without compromise.

We should make sure we don’t twist what the Word tells us. The Word of God is simple, but many try to make it something it is not. Many because they don't like what it is telling them, change it to what they want it to say. Some just are arrogant and think their opinion is charming and it will get them attention. Any reason is actually changing the Word and changing the Word has terrible consequences!

Revelation 22:18 I [personally solemnly] warn everyone who listens to the statements of the prophecy [the predictions and the consolations and admonitions pertaining to them] in this book: If anyone shall add anything to them, God will add and lay upon him the plagues (the afflictions and the calamities) that are recorded and described in this book. 19 And if anyone cancels or takes away from the statements of the book of this prophecy [these predictions relating to Christ’s kingdom and its speedy triumph, together with the consolations and admonitions or warnings pertaining to them], God will cancel and take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the city of holiness (purity and hallowedness), which are described and promised in this book. 20 He Who  gives this warning and affirms and testifies to these things says, Yes (it is true). [Surely] I am coming quickly (swiftly, speedily). Amen (so let it be)! Yes, come, Lord Jesus! AMPC

Next time you hear yourself say well this is my opinion, or I think it means this and especially if you are influencing others, judge yourself.  The Holy Spirit will help you to do that if you are not shutting Him out.  Don’t quench the Spirit with your pride but let Him prepare you for heaven!

Sometimes I feel pretty silly sharing some of the things I believe God for. I guess God was listening to my thoughts this morning when I was thinking that. That is how I ended up here, thinking about childlike faith.

Matthew 18 At that time the disciples came up and asked Jesus, Who then is [really] the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? 2 And He called a little child to Himself and put him in the midst of them, 3 And said, Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turn about) and become like little children [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all]. 4 Whoever will humble himself therefore and become like this little child [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving] is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. AMPC

I wasn’t for sure thinking I was the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. But as I hear so often echo in my memory  —you are just too gullible, you believe everything you hear. I heard that said to me growing up. In fact it was so funny to those who said that to me that they would often tell me a lie or a story to see if I would believe it and then laugh that I did.

Do you know what God is saying to me about that? He analyzed it and said it is a child's natural way to believe what is told to them. You were a child and not expecting people to lie to you. You had no reason to doubt those adults or even the other children. Now that you are older, you don't believe everything you hear because you have learned that there are liars. In fact, you bring everything to Me to see if it is true.

He went on to say that Satan is a liar; there is no truth in him (John 8:44). When Satan hears you talk about what you believe, it bothers him that you would trust Me so much. He doesn't want you to be as a child and just without question, trust Me. Your faith in Me is so strong that he tries to lie to you to get you to set aside your faith for what makes sense. Don't do it, be that child and know that kind of faith pleases Me.

I am so inspired to keep believing God now. Things I was reconsidering to do the way everyone else does things —I have put aside instead of setting aside my faith. God would not lie to me. If He said it it's true and whether I see with my eyes or not I am going to believe it!

Let this inspire you as well. Don't do things as the world does, we are to be separate from them (2 Corinthians 6:17). We should have faith in God because if we don’t we are really like Satan. He wanted to be higher than God, and so he became his own god. We are our own god when we figure out our way and put God’s way aside. Let Him be your Daddy!

WILL THIS HAPPEN TO YOU?

Jesus warned us of false prophets, but are we taking heed?

Matthew 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders so as to deceive and lead astray, if possible, even the elect (God’s chosen ones). AMP

MATTHEW 23-25 “If anyone tries to flag you down, calling out, ‘Here’s the Messiah!’ or points, ‘There he is!’ don’t fall for it. Fake Messiahs and lying preachers are going to pop up everywhere. Their impressive credentials and dazzling performances will pull the wool over the eyes of even those who ought to know better. But I’ve given you fair warning. MSG

Many slip into living by opinions rather than the truth of God’s Word. The reason is, men's opinions make them feel better about their sin —the sin they don't want to change.  Another reason is just like the Message Bible is saying, is their impressive credentials and their performances mislead them!

I have seen this countless times. Men of God come in the house of God as an anointed one, one whom God has sent.  But as soon as it is learned he hasn't any credentials, as soon as it's decided this person is not qualified, he is considered lowly and then not received. Just the same as it was decided Jesus wasn't the Son of God. It didn't matter what He did or said, it was that they just did not like Him. They didn't like Him especially because He was anointed, He healed the sick, and cast out demons. They didn't like Him because He loved!

If a person who is not anointed, but does have a degree comes into the church—he is treated with utmost  honor! His dazzling performances are amazing to the church! He is convincing and makes himself seem like the one. The reason he is loved, is he is of the world not of the Light. Men like to feel good about their sin, not deal with what is true. That is why they didn't like Jesus. He spoke truth and He turned the tables over rebuking them for making His Father's house a den of robbers. He didn't do things the way they liked. He didn't say what they wanted to hear.

Jesus made things right. He did away with what would cause distress. Sin causes distress.

Jesus is going to convict us with truth so that we can be free. He is actually getting us ready to live with Him by telling us the truth. Knowing the truth sets us free from believing a lie. Believing a lie is dangerous as it will determine your destination! Therefore recognize the conviction of truth in your heart, is good and it is Jesus loving you preparing you to move in with Him. Preparing you to live that more than you can ask or think life!

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]—  AMPC

Don't let it happen to you, don't believe a lie. Let the Word of God be your source in making things right!.

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold, 4 And will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions. AMPC

Luke 18:8 I tell you, He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find persistence in] faith on the earth? AMPC

Jesus is asking a very important question here, one that we haven't considered when we nonchalantly say we are ready for Him to come. People every day say that they are ready, yet there is no evidence that they are. They are actually saying I am ready because it seems to be the thing to say. People copy each other because they don't know what to say on their own, and then before you know it they are all believing a lie.

It is believed by many this move with Jesus will be effortless, with no need to prepare. That is not true and Jesus wants you to know that so you don't miss Him —by not being ready. From the Word we can find the truth and that is, that getting ready for Jesus is not effortless. No move is effortless—even in the natural. If you are going to move there is more involved then just saying I am ready.

Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize—a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion]. AMPC

Preparing to move in with Jesus will not only be a fight, but will take some thought and action. The thought would be the decision to go to heaven and the action is in getting ready. It will take faith to get to heaven and we know faith is a fight!  Faith is a spiritual force, the thing we need, the evidence of what we  don't see with the natural eye. Having faith will  bring that thing we can’t see to pass. With faith comes revelation knowledge and with that comes the knowing of what God is thinking.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation,  the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. AMPC

Thus, getting faith alone for the trip is essential (Romans 10:17). One of many attributes of a Christ follower is one who will get faith for what he believes.  A spiritual foundation for being ready is faith.

If you have faith for the return of Jesus then you will prepare for Him by faith, and with your faith —will come action. It won't be just saying  you're ready, but you will find out what you need to do to be ready.

James 2:17 So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead). 18 But someone will say [to you then], You [say you] have faith, and I have [good] works. Now you show me your [alleged] faith apart from any [good] works [if you can], and I by [good] works [of obedience] will show you my faith. AMPC

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Get busy if you want to go to heaven—start packing up in your spirit some faith, in your mind, revelation-knowledge.

Don't just think what everyone else thinks or you will miss Jesus. Jesus said beware of false prophets. Is what you are hearing and believing in line with what Jesus said? What did Jesus say? How would you know unless you open the Book and find out?

Jesus said to me one day, "I hurt that you hurt so I wanted to hurt for you." I was writing when He said that to me. I don't remember what it was I was writing about, but it caused me to stop and cry.

I knew He was saying that's why He did what He did. That's why He got on the cross and took those stripes. That's why He gave His life. He loves us so much that when we hurt He hurts. You know how that feels when you love someone and they hurt, you hurt too because you love that person.  And wouldn't you do anything for that person you love, even be in pain for them?

He loves us so much, our pain hurt Him that much that it moved Him to hurt for us so we don't have to hurt. That's who He is, that is the God we serve, the One that has so much love for us He can't even contain it! He had to do something about our pain because He is that in love with us!

Isaiah 53:3 He was despised and rejected and forsaken by men, a Man of sorrows and pains, and acquainted with grief and sickness; and like One from Whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or have any esteem for Him. 4 Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole. AMPC

Some have this silly idea that God picks and chooses those He will save. I heard someone tell me that just the other day. That would compare to us choosing just some of our children. God is amazingly loving and beyond all we can ask or think. He said if you know how to give good things to your children, then how much more will He give good things to us?

Matthew 7:9 Or what man is there of you, if his son asks him for a loaf of bread, will hand him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for  fish, will hand him a serpent? 11 If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give good and things to those who keep on asking Him!  AMPC

God is far better at loving than we are, He is love. You have to admit, He has already gone through great lengths to show us His love. He loves the world so much He gave us Jesus to save us through Him, so why would He throw some of us in hell and take some of us with Him?

See how silly that is? The Word is misinterpreted all the time. We have to take the time to know God so He can explain things to us.  Not only will He explain things to us, but as you take the time to know Him, you know His character. When you know His character you will know He wouldn't do such a thing. The truth is many reject God and if that is the case they have chosen hell.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people’s conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance. AMPC

It is not God’s will that one should perish. But if we choose to do so: we can choose to ignore God. We can reject Him, and then of course we have picked hell over God.

Matthew 22:2 The kingdom of heaven is like a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son 3 And sent his servants to summon those who had been invited to the wedding banquet, but they refused to come. 4 Again he sent other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my banquet; my bullocks and my fat calves are killed, and everything is prepared; come to the wedding feast. 5 But they were not concerned and paid no attention [they ignored and made light of the summons, treating it with contempt] and they went away—one to his farm, another to his business,7 [Hearing this] the king was infuriated; and he sent his soldiers and put those murderers to death and burned their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, The wedding [feast] is prepared, but those invited were not worthy. 9 So go to the thoroughfares where they leave the city [where the main roads and those from the country end] and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find. 10 And those servants went out on the crossroads and got together as many as they found, both bad and good, so [the room in which] the wedding feast [was held] was filled with guests.

The King sounds pretty frustrated! He invited everyone; those who claimed to be His were too busy and so He went elsewhere.  He went everywhere —out of His way to invite everyone, still some were not interested!

Matthew 22:11 But when the king came in to view the guests, he looked intently at a man there who had on no wedding garment. 12 And he said, Friend, how did you come in here without putting on the [appropriate] wedding garment? And he was speechless (muzzled, gagged). 13 Then the king said to the attendants, Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the darkness outside; there will be weeping and grinding of teeth. 14 For many are called (invited and summoned), but few are chosen. AMPC

Everyone is invited but only those who weren't too busy to come are chosen. That man tried to sneak in when it was too late. He hadn’t prepared for the most precious wedding ever. Now is the time to decide if you have time for God or not, so you can prepare for the wedding banquet.

—Who doesn't get ready for a wedding?

That last line, depart from Me…

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? 23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].  AMPC

Sounds to me like Jesus is hurting.  Have you ever said to someone who hurt you —away from me!  I have and it was because someone I loved hurt me.  I curled up and hid my face and said, “get away from me, leave me alone, don’t touch me!”  I can remember for me, that it was a pretty deep pain.

What do you think Jesus might be feeling here? Picture it, we stand in line I imagine. The next one of us in line steps up; let's say it’s you — just standing there in His presence you know what He is thinking.  As He rushes all those times you denied Him through your mind,  you know you missed it!  Desperate, you try to convince Him, “But, Lord, Lord, I did this for You and that!”   Picture Him now with that hurt look on His face as He turns away from you.  He is in pain because He loves you and you have betrayed Him.  Now He has to say it—away from Me, as He turns His head away from you.

Not only have you hurt Him by denying Him, but now you, the one He loves has to go where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. Hell was not meant for you, but for Satan and His angels.  But, because you chose Satan as your god you have to live with him for eternity!

I would like to encourage you today to stop giving excuses.  Sin is sin and you have been redeemed from sin. If you invited Jesus in your heart and then commit to follow Him, you have His power in you to quit sin.  So stop sinning, let Jesus have His way.  Stop fighting Him, just obey Him!

He told me He is frustrated, that many won’t obey Him and that He will have to sentence that day, many to hell.  He is in pain, and you can take that pain away if you would just get on your knees and worship Him, obey Him—ask Him to help you.  There is not much time, hurry and submit to Him.  Many of you have gods before Him.  Like food, sex, money, material things, and people that take His place.  Those are gods before Him.  Anything that opposes His Word is sin and sin is disregarding His command.  Like the rich man it will be impossible when He comes, for you to enter into eternal life with Him if you are in sin.  You can't serve Him and something else at the same time.  Get rid of it, it's not worth it!  Care for Him —please!
